I find it weird that as I'm reading this blog there is a ad for Terminix that features a rodent.

Sometimes I feel like I'm in the minority here, but I don't care if a game does something new or different.  I really only care about the story, the experience and if I enjoyed it or not.  

Outside of the occasional MMO and Diablo style games I don't like using my PC for gaming.  I abhor Steam and the indie game scene and I just don't find gaming on the PC to be fun.  I own Diablo 3 and I love playing it, but now that I'll be able to play it on a console that's what I'm going to play it on.  

If you haven't played Enlsaved or gave up on it early on, I implore you to go back and give this game the time it deserves.  The characters and story don't just develop they pull you into the world, by the end of the game I found myself caring more about this world than I have for any other game this generation.  

I dislike using the term simplistic when describing this game, I prefer to think of the gameplay as unobtrusive.  The gameplay is a vehicle to experience the story through the eyes of these characters, and in that regard it does so superbly.  

If the idea behind PlayBit is to get the community involved, perhaps playing through a game in which the player can shape the character they are playing and the world around them would be an interesting idea.  Especially if the audience was allowed to suggest or even decide on certain actions throughout the game.  Skyrim, Mass Effect, and even inFamous 1&2 are just a few of the games that would adapt easily to this format.  Apart from allowing the audience to participate in the action it would also be a good way for some players to see how the other half lives.  I know when I play a game that allows for moral choices I have a hard time taking the low road, and I'm sure other people are exactly the opposite.  

Apart from this idea I think that any game that allows for MP whether it be competitive or Co-op would be a good choice for a show like this.  Either making the show staff only or allowing the community to join the game in some way (whether it be open to all or some type of prize) would be highly entertaining.  

Finally I've had an idea for a while that I haven't acted on, but I'm sure that somebody has.  It's essentially something like a MST3K show but instead of showing bad/cheesy movies the peanut gallery comments on bad/cheesy games.

I'm okay with Uncharted in space, heck I'm really okay with anything that gets the Star Wars license back on track.  After the Force Unleashed series and at least for me the dismal failure of SWTOR I'm ready for someone to come in and make a good and engaging game in the Star Wars Universe.  

What I really want from 1313 is solid gameplay, it doesn't have to be new or different or great even.  Just give me good solid gameplay that doesn't get in the way of experiencing a great story.  That's what I really want from 1313 is a great story that makes me feel like I'm part of the Star Wars universe.  

I wasn't an active blogger on 1up but I loved that site.  I've spent countless hours listening to their podcasts and I have a special place in my heart for the 1upShow (especially the theme songs) and I was really saddened to see them shut down.  I doubt that one more active blogger would have helped them keep running but, I do feel like I let them down because I didn't contribute to what they were doing and trying to do.  

If I could change that I would but I can't so what I'd like to do is become an active member of this site and help this community grow and prosper, and I'm really going to work hard to put forth some interesting content.  Things that I had always wanted to do at 1up but never got around to.  I'm going to try and get some stuff up over the next couple of days, but it's been a bit hectic around my house lately as my wife and I just moved into our new apartment and there is still a ton of unpacking to do, but I'll make sure to pop in and read what the staff and community is putting up and leave some comments until I can knock out a post or two of my own.
