It has been a really dull day today. I was sick yesterday and still feeling it today. Haven't really felt like doing anything but I have to wake up and compete tomorrow. So I have been taking meds like crazy just to feel somewhat better.
Its the end of the first week of bad. Of course, its today when I can't think of anything to write about. So here's a bunch of things I've been doing and thinking about.
I have plenty more iOS games to cover but I wanted to take a break to cap this week. What a week it has been! I'm drowning in blogs to read. Of course, you're all in the same boat. But this week was especially stressful for my family because one of my wife's uncles passed away last Sunday night and we decided to go to the funeral. We packed up the car once I got home Tuesday night and set out on the road. We were able to stay with some friends we hadn't seen in a while, and though it took us only about six hours to get there (no traffic late at night during the week), it was still 2 in the morning. My 18-month-old son Link slept almost the whole way but woke up about 30 minutes before we got there and wouldn't go back to sleep. I finally got him down at 3:15 but it didn't last long. Needless to say, we woke up tired.
Here it is folks in all it's glory. According to the EB managers I just spoke to the CE was not released for sale. It was preorder only and some stores were short shipped. Whether that's true remains to be seen but Woo Hoo! anyway. Here's all the stuff I got. Panda not included.
Today our musical guest is DJ Marky and S.P.Y with their song "Kinky Funky". Both artist are well known in the D&B world for their solo efforts. But they've also been known to team up and make hot tracks as well. Marky and S.P.Y. both hail from Brazil, and it shows in Kinky Funky. It has that "Brazillian funk" (I don't if that's a real term, but that's what I'm calling it) written all over it. It makes for a great listen on a sunny afternoon when you're crusin' down the freeway.
I think that I am craving an RPG. The only problem is that I am not quite sure which one to dive into. The reason that I think that I am getting this craving is because I am doing my best not to download Bravely Default right now. There are other signs, like downloading FF IX just because Snee was talking about it. I even picked up Rune Factory 4 on a whim. I used to buy games on a whim constantly, but I have been doing better recently. In fact, the only unplanned purchases have been the amazing PSN sales.
Anybody remember years ago in the '90s when Friday nights used to mean an awesome block of shows? Family Matters, Full House, Step By Step, Boy Meets World, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and some other wacky shows that came and went (anybody remember Dinosaurs?).
