ModNation Racers: Road Trip Review

Did you know that flash memory-based cartridges could have atrocious loading times? Neither did I.

Rush job releases are pretty commonplace for the launch of a system, but you don’t typically see first party games falling peril to this. ModNation Racers: Road Trip stands in stark contrast to the norm as it carries a wide variety of issues, ranging from slowdown during races, to hefty loading times, to unresponsive menus, and rubber-banding AI.

Game Freak Reveals Pokemon Black and White 2

The surprise announcement reveals sequels rather than the expected Pokemon Grey.

In a surprise announcement, Game Freak, The Pokemon Company, and Nintendo have announced that the latest in the Pokemon series will be a direct sequel to the latest generation of Pokemon games, Black and White. Forgoing the typical "third" game that offers all of the Pokemon found individually in each of the titles, the franchise is breaking new ground with the first direct sequel in the mainline series ever. Both Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 will be coming to the Nintendo DS in Japan this June, with an American release confirmed, but an exact date to be announced.

Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack Review

While only a downloadable title, this is one of the best of the Vita launch.

It's true; I'm in love with Drinkbox Studios' latest effort and PlayStation Vita launch title, Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack. I wish I could point to one individual aspect of the game and say, "that's it, that's why I love this game," but it's not that simple. Warp Review

A unique, but ultimately forgettable puzzler.

Imagine yourself as an alien, just captured and jammed into a testing facility deep under the sea with countless rooms dedicated to poking and prodding you in every way imaginable. Many others from your home world have been captured and are falling victim to the crew of scientists lining the facility's halls - but you have decided you won't succumb to their inhumane treatment. You rebel and break free from your shackles with the intent of escaping the facility altogether. Little do you know that the place is armed to the teeth – drones can be found in nearly every room, every door is locked, and there are a seemingly unlimited number of guards intent on ending you with a quickly fired bullet.
