After eleven years without a new main-series console game, Kirby is finally back.

Open up a toy chest, and inside you'll find a G.I. Joe, a water gun, a yo-yo. You'll see Ninja Turtles. Perhaps at the bottom there's a baseball. No matter how you look at it, there are dozens of toys and dozens of ways to play games. And so it is with Kirby's Return to Dream Land.

inFAMOUS 2: Festival of Blood Review

There's a bloody good time to be had in New Marais.

There has been this perception that Festival of Blood was DLC; that it was some kind of small addition to inFAMOUS 2 which was released earlier this year.  It's an easy assumption to make since FoB takes place in New Marais, the New Orleans of InFAMOUS’ fictional world and the setting of Cole’s second adventure.  It would only make sense that you would need to have a copy of the game in order to enjoy this expansion, but the lovely folks at Sucker Punch Productions wanted to gift the entire PlayStation 3 community with this gem and as such released it as a stand-alone title.

HD re-releases of older games are all the rage these days. That’s not going to stop anytime soon, either; collections for Silent Hill, Zone of the Enders, and Devil May Cry are all in the works. Arguably one of the highest profile collections on the horizon is Metal Gear Solid, and today Konami announced when you’ll be able to get your hands on shiny new versions of some of Hideo Kojima’s most popular games.

God of War: Origins Collection Review

Kratos, a man of many emotions – angry, pissed off, furious, and did I mention angry?

Good news, everyone! PixlBit has already reviewed both Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta. Both received a rating of 4 stars on the PSP, and if you're a fan of the series, surely the same will hold true here. Sony has lovingly ported these games to the PlayStation 3 with great results. Both games look strikingly good for PSP remasters and both control as you'd expect with the de facto PlayStation controller, as opposed to the often awkward PSP nub.

Lord of the Rings: War in the North Preview

Snowblind's journey into Middle Earth is a bloody one indeed.

The Lord of the Rings: War in the North isn’t your average LOTR adaptation.  Even with a story that focuses much of its attention on war and the horrors that lie within that beast, the movies and books have always been rather accessible to even the youngest members of the family.  That’s about to change as it's best the little ones sit out what is shaping up to be the bloodiest vision of Middle Earth yet.
