Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer has been pretty smooth since its launch but the new Elite service has not. Users are having trouble registering, logging in, and accessing stats due to the servers being unable to handle the demand. Due to these problems, the Elite service will be limited until additional servers are added.

I honestly didn’t see how Treyarch could have kept their promise that the next Call of Duty game, Black Ops, would have more action than the previous two Modern Warfare games. After all, people can only see so many nukes go off before it starts to seem mundane; however, I think even Michael Bay would have to take a breather while playing this game. In spite of all Activision’s recent troubles, Blacks Ops ensures that Call of Duty will continue to be a video game goliath, stomping through gamers’ hearts and minds.

Many claimed it couldn't be done by a non-Modern Warfare title, but the new Call of Duty: Black Ops has outperformed last years Modern Warfare 2 in day one sales by nearly a million copies. Last year Modern Warfare sold 4.7 million, while yesterday, Black Ops managed to sell an impressive 5.6 million copies. This was an estimated sell through rate of $360 million - a $50 million difference above what Modern Warfare 2 pulled in before.
Though players everywhere are complaining of lag and stuttering issues, Treyarch still won't offer a definitive explanation.
The highly anticipated first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops released yesterday, and though the game has been out for barely a day, gamers everywhere are complaining of several issues concerning the PC version.
