Ubisoft Announces Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

Ay matey!

Following what has now become tradition, the yearly entry in the Assassin's Creed series is now coming to light. Officially announced by Ubisoft today for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will be the next title in the annual series. While the game has been announced without details, leaked information and rumors have been swirling for days.

Gamestop Posting Reveals Assassin's Creed Revelations DLC

Lost Archive is due for release soon.

It has been rumored that a single player expansion for Assassin's Creed Revelations is in the works, but Ubisoft has still yet to reveal even the existence of the DLC. Thanks to a Gamestop listing (discovered by Game Revolution), it's now clear that something is in fact in the works and due for release soon - very soon. According to Gamestop, Assassin's Creed Revelations: Lost Archive is slated for release on Feburary 28.

The Da Vinci Disappearance Review

Find art, save Da Vinci, and meet his lov… errand boy!

Now that I’ve finally gotten around to playing the latest Assassin’s Creed title, I’ve also gotten the opportunity to play the related DLC, which functions well as a standalone extra after completing the quest, or as an integrated set of tasks into the rest of your objectives. The Da Vinci Disappearance is quite the hefty offering, clocking in at around two hours of gameplay in its single player exploits. The DLC also adds a couple of new modes to the multiplayer mode; your mileage with the new content may vary.
