The two 3DS exclusives have been given American release dates.

Square Enix previously announced both Theatrhythm Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] for the US, but failed to provide a release date for either. South Park: Tenorman's Revenge Review

I'd rather go Tower Defense play.

Creating a South Park game is tricky business, no doubt. It requires equal parts great gameplay, fan service, and humor. What makes Tenorman’s Revenge especially interesting is that it manages to fail on all three fronts. Stiff controls, a lame story, and poor level design make this one of the few South Park stories that you’re better off skipping.

PB & Jason Issue 82: Mr. PB & Jason

Doesn't Mr. Game & Watch deserve a full game to call his own?

This week on PB & Jason: Lies, deceit, evil twins, a wedding, and a funeral! No, no, not really. Instead, there's talk about Kid Icarus: Uprising! Nintendo's favorite angel takes on the armies of the underworld and also multiplayer vs. matches. What do I think about Pit's revival? Well, let's just say it inspired me to speculate about what could be done to bring back two other Nintendo franchises that are basically dead in the water at this point: Game & Watch and Balloon Fight. What kind of makeover would they get? You'll have to listen to find out!

Rock Band Blitz Brings Harmonix Back to Their Roots

Forgoing the traditional peripheral-based input, the upcoming downloadable title channels Amplitude and Frequency.

Today, Harmonix officially announced Rock Band Blitz for both Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network. Rather than utilize the peripheral instruments that have made the series a hit, Blitz requires players only have a controller on the ready to play the beat-match title. Just like Amplitude and Frequency, Rock Band Blitz brings multi-track arcade gameplay that has players switching between instruments on-the-fly to replicate the song.

Sony Releasing Vita Firmware 1.65

The update includes minor usability and UI improvements.

With the Vita now in the hands of gamers worldwide, Sony will be rolling out firmware v1.65 "soon" to address some player usability and UI complaints. Leading the pack is a new power setting that will prevent the system from going to sleep at such a rapid pace. Currently during long loading times or even while the credits roll on a game, the system will go to sleep due to a lack of player input. Players can now force the system to only sleep after ten minutes of inactivity.

The latest game with a Kickstarter campaign is Larry Laffer himself!

About six months ago, Replay Games announced an HD remake of the first Leisure Suit Larry game, Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards, along with plans to remake the sequels at a later time. Kid Icarus: Uprising Review

Booty, booty, booty rocking everywhere.

Kid Icarus: Uprising fills a couple of holes in Nintendo’s arsenal of video game genres. Not only has the series been re-imagined as an on-rails shooter, but Uprising is also a third-person shooter/slasher. These hybridized genres bring a unique mix of untapped video game potential to a Nintendo console. In spite of its steep learning curve and lefty control issues, Kid Icarus: Uprising is an early reason to buy a Nintendo 3DS.

Warhammer 40K: Dark Millennium is an MMO No More

THQ shifting to a single-player focus, over 100 employees laid off.

Financial woes at THQ have brought many titles being developed for the publisher under scrutiny.  While some titles have been scrapped altogether, other titles, such as the planned MMO Warhammer 40K: Dark Millennium, have been “refocused” – changed to fit into their evolving new strategy of serving the hardcore gamer.
