Oh, and the HD collection gets a release date.
For those wondering when the HD collection of the cult hit series Zone of the Enders would be coming out, we now have a date. It’s October 25th of this year. But that’s one of the more insignificant pieces of news to come out of the Zone of the Enders HD ReBOOT Preview event.
And there was much rejoicing.
Just when we thought we couldn’t get any more deader, Atlus comes out with an announcement that will have Demon’s Souls fans rejoicing. The publisher, who had previously stated that the game’s servers would be going offline at the end of the month has pulled a 180 and declared that North American server support will instead “continue to operate for the foreseeable future.”
Who the hell called Dead Island Game of the Year?!
Here at PixlBit we try to report news and provide articles with as little bias as possible, but sometimes we just have to let loose and just let our true feelings be known on a particular subject. It is in this spirit that we introduce “Rage Quit,” a new series that will see one of the PixlBit staffers go off without having to worry about the little things like common decency.

A talking cave? Really? That's awesome!
With the release of a “mystery” screenshot the other day, Sega essentially let the cat out of the bag and practically told the world that they would be publishing Ron Gilbert’s pet project being developed at Double Fine. Today Sega and Double Fine came straight out and confirmed that Ron Gilbert’s secret project, titled The Cave, will be published by Sega in early 2013.
Crazy clicking creates copious cases of carpal tunnel.
Click. Click. Click. It’s hard to believe that a game that’s entirely based around mouse clicking can be as entertaining, addictive, and all-consuming as Diablo III is. Blizzard took twelve years to deliver the third release of their dungeon-exploring, monster-slaying, loot-hoarding series, and it was entirely possible that this game wouldn’t deliver on over a decade of anticipation. I’m here to tell you that Blizzard did indeed deliver and as soon as I’m done telling you exactly how amazing this game is you can count on me going back in for more clicking, carnage, and loot. Often imitated but never duplicated, Blizzard has given a powerful reminder of who the king of the click really is.
