A full scale RPG from THQ and Obsidian is on the way.
South Park has had a storied history in gaming. Back on the N64, PlayStation, and PC, Iguana Entertainment brought fans a first person shooter that carried some of the charm that made the show a hit. Later, it was followed by a racing game, South Park Rally, and a trivia game, Chef's Luv Shack. After that, the IP went dormant until Let's Go Tower Defense Play on XBLA, which is still to be followed by a four player, co-op platformer. While these small downloadable games are making a splash with players, they pale in comparison to what THQ and Obsidian have announced to be bringing to the market.
Story, control, and gameplay ideas for a Zelda reboot.
After 25 years and 13 games, Zelda is certainly no spring chicken. We've heard more about Link, the Triforce, Ganon, and a plot hole-ridden timeline than you can shake a Deku stick at. It looks like Skyward Sword will shake things up, but for me it's not enough. The world of Hyrule needs a new hero to rise. That hero is the cucco.

Take on Scott Tenorman and his evil gingers next year.
The second South Park game for XBLA has finally been revealed. This will be the final part of the exclusive deal between Microsoft and South Park Digital Studios that was unveiled two years ago. The first game, South Park: Let’s Go Tower Defense Play! had a decent showing among reviewers, with a Metacritic of 72. While that game featured Stan, Kenny, Cartman, and Kyle in a tower defense setting, the new game is something much, much different.
Justin and Jeremy break it down to Hey Ya on Just Dance 2.
Destruction reigns supreme in this simple yet fun downloadable game.
Like most people, my favorite moments in the Burnout series have always revolved around the wrecks. Slamming a competitor into an oncoming car during a race or just causing as much damage as possible during a crash mode is endlessly entertaining to me, so when I heard that Criterion Games was making a downloadable version of the Crash mode I was more than excited to get my hands on it.
Sorry for the downtime, everyone.
Hey everyone, you probably noticed at some point today that PixlBit was down. We've been having some serious lightning storms out here in Tampa, which subsequently knocked our power out and messed up the server's network connection. Everything has been resolved and hopefully we shouldn't be having any more problems. My apologies for the outage, but now that we're back, be sure to check out our ongoing Metroid 25th Anniversary coverage from JD; also, be sure to read Matt McLennan's KIrby's Adventure Review Rewind!
