WiiWare Demos Available November 22

Nintendo plans to relaunch the WiiWare demo service this Monday and this time it appears to be staying.

After a year-long hiatus, WiiWare Demos are finally making a comeback. There are four planned titles ready for a launch this Monday: BIT.TRIP FATE, And Yet It Moves, ThruSpace and Jett Rocket. The service also appears to be back for good this time around as the e-mail Nintendo sent out this morning states that "additional demos will be added on Mondays and each will remain available on the Wii Shop Channel for a limited time". Call of Duty: Black Ops Outsells Modern Warfare 2

Black Ops beat out Modern Warfare 2 day one sales. Set to surpass Modern Warfare 2's five day sales record.

Many claimed it couldn't be done by a non-Modern Warfare title, but the new Call of Duty: Black Ops has outperformed last years Modern Warfare 2 in day one sales by nearly a million copies. Mass Effect 2 Review

A little more action, a little less RPG, a lot of awesome.

Mass Effect 2, the appropriately titled sequel to Mass Effect for the Xbox 360 is an excellent game and is a marked improvement, at the very least in the gameplay department, over its predecessor. In the game you continue your role as Commander Shepherd; Human Alliance soldier, Council Specter and all around badass who’s on a quest to save the galaxy.

Max & the Magic Marker Review

Can Max and his Magic Marker draw their way into your heart?

Playing Max and the Magic Marker, I've found, is both an act of joy and frustration. The title focuses on physics-based puzzle-solving and platforming, though there's a little bit of exploration in the mix.

Dragon Age: Origins Review

Bioware reminds us what the bar is with their latest RPG.

Over the years, I’ve played my fair share of RPG’s. From the turned-based action of Final Fantasy, to the real time mechanics of Oblivion and Fallout 3, this genre has always kept me coming back for more with its epic story lines and ever-changing game play. Bioware games are no exception either, with Knights of the Old Replublic and Mass Effect being among my favorite games of all time. That being said, I had high hopes that their newest title, Dragon Age: Origins, would give me the same great experience I’ve come to expect from the studio. And that happens to be exactly what I got, with “same” being the keyword here.
