PAX East just kicked off today in Boston, but we may already have born witness to what may be the event’s biggest announcement. Capcom has announced that they will be resurrecting one of the most beloved platformers of all time. That’s right, DuckTales is making a comeback this year.

By the end of Episode 3 of Telltale’s “The Walking Dead”, I felt like I had been taken on an emotional rollercoaster. Many events happened that changed the scope of the situation for Lee, Clementine and the rest of the group, and I knew going into Episode 4 that it would continue down that path. Knowing also that Episode 4 is the lead up to their Episode 5 finale I hoped that the stakes would be raised in order to provide for a satisfying final chapter. Thankfully, I was not disappointed.

Even though there’s still plenty of excitement revolving around the launch of a new console, be it handheld or otherwise, it seems as though the days of week-long lines and potential riots have been all but killed off by the widespread use of pre-orders. Those launch line ups were quite the experience, but those early days were made even more memorable when the new hardware was unsealed and powered up for the first time. When the Wii Launched on November 19, 2006, nobody predicted it would be snapped up just as soon as it could be stocked on store shelves. We also weren’t sure what direction the innovative motion controls and classic Nintendo franchises would take us. To relive the elation and anticipation of the Wii Launch experience, some of the PixlBit crew thought it would be fun to share their own launch day memories. It seems zombies aren’t the only enemies.
Set in the same universe as the graphic novel of the same name, this episodic tale follows the story of Lee Everet, an ex-convict with a troubled past and his interactions with the characters he meets. Though zombies are the primary antagonists of The Walking Dead series, one theme that the series drives home is the fact that everyday people can be just as, if not more dangerous than the undead. Episode 2: Starved For Help continues this theme.
Namco Bandai finally reveals U.S. And European Release.
Western Tales series fans have a lot to be happy about with this year's releases of Tales of the Abyss 3D and Tales of Graces f. Apparently, these releases were successful enough to warrant the release of the latest main series game, Tales of Xillia.
In stores this September for the PC, Mac, Nintendo Wii, and Nintendo 3DS.
Telltale delivers an exciting and engaging take on the zombie apocalypse.
The Walking Dead has been taking the nation by storm with an extremely popular graphic novel and the hit television series. Naturally, a video game adaptation was considered, and many worried that the game would follow in the footsteps of other zombie survival games like Dead Island, or even Left 4 Dead.
Tales of the Typical JRPG.
Japanese RPGs haven't had the easiest time this generation. The good ones are few and far between and Japan has taken notice to the downshift in popularity. Many games, such as Tales of Graces f have a hard time being localized for English speaking audiences. Thankfully, after much fan demand, the game has finally seen a release on U.S. shores and while it doesn't stray far from the formula, it provides an experience that will satisfy many starving JRPG fans.
US fans of the Tales series may have even more to celebrate.
Namco’s Tales games have been coming out for quite some time now, but Europe and North America are just now starting to get some real love from the beloved RPG franchise. The publisher recently brought to us localizations of Tales of the Abyss 3D and Tales of Graces f, but it seems that there may be more in store for us as patents in both Europe and the U.S. have been spotted for Tales of Xillia.
