Inversion Release Date Set

Two years after its original release window, Inversion is finally coming out.

After two years of multiple delays, Namco Bandai has finally locked in a launch date for Inversion. Saber Interactive's gravity-defying shooter will come to retail shelves for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on June 5, 2012. The title was originally slated for a 2010 release.

Shinobido 2: Revenge of Zen Review

It's certainly not the prettiest game on the Vita, but it does offer fleeting moments of fun.

From the moment I booted up Shinobido 2: Revenge of Zen, something felt oddly familiar. No, it wasn't because I had played the last game in the series - that title never released in America – it was something else. Visages of Tenchu immediately sprung to mind, and rightfully so, as this was a ninja game from Acquire, the minds behind Tenchu. For those familiar with the Tenchu series, this is a good thing; however, repetition and poor controls ultimately get the better of this experience.

Street Fighter X Tekken Vita Characters Coming To Consoles Eventually

The 12 characters won't be exclusive to the portable after all.

Capcom's Seth Killian told Shacknews that the 12 extra characters in the Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken will eventually come to consoles. "We'll find a way to make sure that console fans are happy, as well," Killian noted.

Zynga Launching Their Own Gaming Platform

Zynga wants its own online portal.

Zynga has had some legal troubles recently as well as a drop in shares. However, the company has plans to release their titles via its own online portal. Currently scheduled to go into beta later this month on Zynga's website, the company hopes to include third party content as well as FarmVille, Words with Friends and its other games.

Former Lionhead Studios staffers Dene and Simon Carter have formed Another Place Productions, a new UK-based studio, according to Joystiq. Both brothers worked on the Fable series and have brought with them several other members of the Fable development team.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has been leaked by Spanish retailer Fnac. The picture shown here has a listing for the yet to be announced sequel to 2010's Call of Duty: Black Ops. Activision hasn't confirmed this title, although they have said that a Call of Duty game will be released this year.
