I'm not really sure how they did it. Very rarely are sequels to launch games worse off than the original, but Kinect Sports: Season Two manages to be even less compelling than its simplistic predecessor. Not only have half of the sports been done better by Wii Sports, but the other half are so shallow in their implementation, they won't garner any of your attention or time.

In celebration of the series' 25th anniversary, a special edition 3DS will hit stores later this month.

Nintendo of Europe announced today that a limited edition Ocarina of Time-themed 3DS will hit store shelves in Europe on November 25. The black system will be trimmed in gold and feature the Zelda series logo on the top of the system, as well as a themed border featuring ocarinas around the edges. Included in the box is not only the special system, but a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D.

Whether you're chasing down an opponent through back alleys and across rooftops or searching for a hidden switch in some decrepit structure, Naughty Dog knows exactly how to direct your eye and smooth out all of the typical bumps associated with navigating a 3D space. And all of this is amidst stunning and grandiose locales, which are part of an amazing and intriguing story. Naughty Dog shows unbelievable mastery in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception that's unparalleled in this day and age.

Come celebrate Sonic's anniversary by sharing your memories of the series alongside the PixlBit staff!

Earlier this year, on June 23, Sonic turned 20 years old. As a celebration of his legacy, Sega is releasing Sonic Generations today on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, with the 3DS version to follow later this month. The game celebrates the history of the franchise by joining old and new into one singular game that promises to mesh and meld all of what makes Sonic great. PixlBit's staff, growing up during the era of the blue blur, have fond memories of Sonic and his games and have come together to share their memories of the mascot.
