Grab some popcorn...

Okay let's get this straight for a bit before I begin with my list, I don't go to the movies to watch movies, I usually wait for them to come out on dvd, plus it seems cheaper to me anyway. But I am looking forward to some movies this year, only 4 which may seem rather low since Batman is going to Kick Superman's Ass: The Movie doesn't come this year. Well before I begin, here are some blogs you might of missed, and new rules on this, one blog per person and blogs with hardly any comments will be tagged by me:

The Amazing Spider-man 2: I wasn't the biggest fan of the first Amazing Spider-man, I thought it was good but it didn't impact me as much as the first Spidey film from 2001 (or whatever year it came out). I mean I did like Uncle Ben in this one more so atleast that has someting going for it. This new one seems like it might be better than the previous one.

Late last year I watched the movie were Ferris Bueller Ferris Buellerized Godzilla and I didn't think it was terrible, but it certainly wasn't better than the Japanese Godzilla films. I saw the trailer for the new one and  while it looks good, it seems to be repeating some things from the 1998 one. I hope they don't mess it up, the last Godzilla film we got was Final Wars in 2004 and that was a decade ago. This year is his 60th anniversary, and I've always been a big fan of the G-man but I hope it's good, that way we can get more Godzilla films.

I've always been a fan of Captain America, he's my favorite Marvel Super Heroe and if I was a Marvel Hero, Cap would be it. I was a fan of the first film, and I even liked the game, I am excited for this one, it looks good from what I've seen. Plus more Scarlet as Black Widow is never a bad thing.

Transformers 4: Age of Extinction: I'll be honest here, I'm looking forward to this despite not being the biggest fan of Michael Bays Transformers films. I said a while ago that they aren't as bad as people make them out to be, they aren't flawless. MB said he wasn't going to use the Dinobot's because I think he said he didn't like em, but apparently is using them and I am glad they are dinosaurs. I know people will say why robot dinosaurs? The Dinobot's have been around since G1/1983/1984, I just hope they don't make them lame. Also, it is rumored that Galvatron will be in the movie, but I wonder how they will pull that off since Galvatron is sort of Unicron's slave/puppet in the popular G1 canon. Who knows, maybe it'll lead to a story arc with Unicron in TF5/6.

That's all the movies I'm looking forward to so far, what are you looking forward to? Thanks for reading and later.

I did just see the trailer for Godzilla and am now curious about that one.  I haven't seen The Amazing Spiderman yet, so it is hard to get excited about the sequel.  I also have not watched a Transformers movie since the first one.  I think that I am  slowly losing interest in the big budget summer blockbusters.

I'm not really a big fan of the Tranformers movies, but I'm always excited for them because I love the CGI. Just something about complex machinery always interests me. Also, I don't know if you saw, but there was a big hint as to a death of a character in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 during the Super Bowl trailer!

I wouldn't mind seeing the new Amazing Spiderman and Captain America. I tried reading some of the older comics for Captain America, but I couldn't get into them. That movie was awesome though.

I'll probably check out Amazing Spider-Man and Captain America, and depending on if I have enough money Godzilla.

Pretty much your list plus the new Muppets flick, as far as I know.

I hated Transformers 2 and strongly disliked 3, but one was ok, I guess. I'm still interested in the new movie, if it gets good reviews, otherwise I'll wait.

I feel pretty much the same as you about Spidey flicks.

I don't think the new Godzilla looks at all like it will be like the 1998 one, though I saw that one in theaters at age 8 and enjoyed it and still don't think it's terrible. The only similarity I see between the two is that the trailers show structural damage, but I don't think they're going the sappy, "aw poor baby just wants fish" route the '98 one took at all. It looks to me like they're going much more apocalyptic with it, which I think is good. We'll see.

Captain America isn't my favorite hero, but his movie was my favorite of the pre-Avengers Marvel ones. The new movie looks really good.

Other than that, I'm looking forward to seeing Dallas Buyers Club at my university's theater, and catching up on some other 2013 movies I missed if I can.

I appreciate the shout out, but just so you know, I think my blogs will start out with fewer comments, since I am going to post most at night, cause that's when I have time. The blog you linked has a decent bit now. I don't want you to feature me every day just cause no one's awake or on here when I post. lol If you want to though, go ahead, I don't mind being given a shout out. Smile

The next film I'm looking forward to is The Wind Rises later this month in North America (Feb 21st). It's a Hayao Miyazaki film. He's done lots of films but I've only seen Princess Mononoke, which I thought was great.

I can't wait. I'm going to cry like a baby during it too. I just know it.
