What IS an RPG? Well, it could mean many things these days - pen and paper Dungeons & Dragons, or Live Action Role Playing, or Pokemon training - its definition is broad. But its name tells you the secret - role playing is about taking on a role in a fictional setting. Some forms of RPGs, like D&D, involve more collaborative storytelling between players and gamemasters. Others only have lite-RPG elements, like some FPS and 3rd Person Action Games. It's a rather vague term that covers a lot of bases these days. 

Another year, another BaD. But times DO change. This year, before I start my blogs, I wanted to dedicate this iteration of our yearly blogging holiday to our noted member Cary and his mom, who has recently undergone treatment for cancer. We're all hoping Cary's mom has a swift recovery and that his family is blessed in this new year. 

Well, it's almost that time of year again. It's funny, last year when we did BaD, it seemed like a normal year, and we had no idea how bad the Corona virus would get. Well, we're still a little bit a ways from getting out of this crisis, but BaD waits for no man.
