We've had a lot of sub-zero cold, a blizzard, and another snow storm since I last posted. I had to work during the blizzard. They eventually closed the market at 5 PM, so I did get to go home early. And the storm on Wednesday happened on my day off, and I spent the whole day gaming.

It's been too bloody cold for too long here in Maine (and most of the rest of the USA and Canada), and the only time I've left the house in the last week has been to go to work. It's been so cold the dog's been switching which hind leg he stands on mid-pee. Today, however, a heat wave erupted and it got up into the mid-twenties. So I drove to Portland, picked up Jason, and we took Beau to the beach. And after the beach, we hit the mini mall with one of the book stores we got gift cards for, and it also has a Goodwill, and down the street is a Bull Moose Music.

While browsing through the sale games on PSN, I came across this game. It looked kinda cool but I hadn't heard anything about it. But, hey, it was on sale, so why not? Our download speed here is incredibly slow, so I left the PS4 in rest mode and by the time I got home from work, it had finally installed. I needed a break from Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2, so I figured I'd check out Yonder. This was a little past 9 PM. Next thing I knew, it was 3 AM! So that answered the question of "will it be worth it?"

It's been a long time since I've written a blog. I got overwhelmed with the large number of blogs my friends had written and that I didn't have time to read or comment on. Plus, I went through a long period of not gaming and didn't feel like I had anything to contribute. So I deleted 2000+ notices in my inbox and am starting from scratch.

This is going to be a short blog tonight, as I am wiped out. I spent the morning shoveling, and was the only cashier to show up for work for the closing shift.

The last couple of days have kept me busy with snow, shoveling snow, working in a blizzard, driving to a concert 20 miles away in a small snow event (I don't consider it bad enough to call a storm, but there were interesting driving conditions and an iced-up windshield to contend with), shoveling more snow, running a snowshoe race this morning, and settling in for a blizzard that started around 3:00 this afternoon and won't wind down until some time tomorrow afternoon. So more shoveling in my near future.

Another short blog coming in late in the evening. Closing shifts at the market throw my timing off, and guess what? I pretty much only have closing shifts! At least I get to do stuff with the pup before I go to work.

This is a quick and not quite under the wire blog. In my defense, I was trapped under a cute, snuggly, sleeping cat who couldn't be disturbed. So I entertained myself by watching High Noon while trapped. Great movie, by the way, if you haven't seen it.

No, this really doesn't have anything to do with gaming, but ask me if I care.

Because I have the nifty new toy known as my new-to-me PS4, I now need games to play on it. Most people recommend AAA titles which is all well and good, but I'm aware of most of those. What interests me most are the offerings on PSN.
