If there's one thing the gamer community seems to hate, it's a tacked on multiplayer mode. I, however, do not think that tacked on single player modes get the hate they deserve compared to this. They may be less common, but it gets annoying when games like Battlefield 3 have this tacked on campaign for no other reason than to justify charging $60.

So we're getting GBA games on Wii U today. I don't get why Wii U either, but I'm not complaining because I LOVE the GBA. I've enjoyed it more than most systems out there (thanks in part to SNES games, but I won't mention those here). So I thought I'd give my ten favorite GBA games.

So, South Park:The Stick of Truth came out last week. Having beat the game, I can say that it's really fucking good. A little too vague, particularly with the puzzles and the fart mechanics do not quite work as well as they should, but that doesn't change that the game is every South Park fan's wet dream. It doesn't ignore any of South Park's past, jokes, gags, and characters they don't really touch anymore such as Mr. Hankey and Professor Chaos are present. It's just great.

I finally get Dark Souls. This game is awesome.

Crash Twinsanity is worse than Assassin's Creed 3. It belongs high up on the "Worst Things Humanity Ever Made" list along with the Star Wars prequels, nuclear waste, Agent Orange, and Tim Tebow. Everything about this game is torture, which is made even worse because it has potential. There's a mix of good ideas and the terrible ideas, none of which work well. This review needs to be a little more in than my other coverage of the Crash games because what's wrong with it boils down to everything. 

There's one more Crash game to cover, but I want to save that for tomorrow to end BaD off with a bang. So I thought I'd talk about the state of the Bandicoot now. And there is no better way to illustrate it than with this image:

So I'm going to take a short break from Crash because I'm mentally exhausted right now and frankly, the last two Crash blogs deserve a Greenman at the top of his game, or at least one of them. I'm going out of order for them to end BaD with a bang, because I have.....things to say. So today, I'm just going to go with something mindless. And since I'm psyched for South Park: The Stick of Truth's release next week, I'll talk about the show.

So after the small success of The Huge Adventure, it was only natural that Crash would get a sequel on the GBA with Crash N-Tranced. I played this one before Wrath of Cortex, so this was the first Crash game that started to make me a lot more lukewarm to the series. This comes from two main problems: Repeating Huge Adventure's biggest issue and a lack of effort.

So it finally happened. Crash Bandicoot was coming onto a system I actually owned. I could not be any more excited to play the hell out of that game, it was the first GBA game I was super excited for. At the time, I played the hell out of it, and upon returning to it, I found that there was a lot to like.
