Not that I'm broke right now or anything, but I am trying to save for a trip to somewhere (not sure where yet) this summer and I also have got to pay my taxes. This time of the year is good for me, we have a lot of festivals happening (French Quarter Fest, Creole Tomato Fest, Jazz Fest, ect.) so I'm getting a lot of hours and sales are kicking ass, so I got some money to burn. So I went to Gamestop with the possible purchase of Bioshock Infinate on my mind. Instead of dropping $60 on Bioshock, I spent 25 and left with a brand spankin new copy of Nier, and a used copy of 3-Dot Heroes, and a copy of Dragon Quest Rocket Slime.

When I posted on this topic the other day I was wary of posting anything that might be rumors and such. So I stuck with the few tidbits on Gearboxs' official facebook page.

Even before the Aliens Colonial Marines debacle, Gearbox has had  Borderlands fans a bit annoyed with miss-information about the eventual level cap raise. Well it is official on April 1st a dlc pack that raises the lv cap to 61 and adds a third play through option will be available. No details yet on the specifics of this third play through. Also many fans are concerned about how this will effect all the lv 50 Legendary gear the have aquired. I personally am annoyed that this went from being part of the final installment of the season pass and is now another dlc to purchase.

Well it took awhile but this is part one of my trap games blog series. It's really hard to even call this a genre because it kind of died before it even got a chance to get going. And I'm sure there are games I will  miss, plus I want to focus on games I have actually played. So this time I will be talking about Tecmos' Deception series in particular Kagero Deception 2.

Just got Tales of Graces, Digital Devil Saga, and Metroid: Other M. I played Graces not long ago and it easily has the best combat system of any Tales game to date. The Story and characters are your classic anime style melodramatic affair that you can't help but like. Been scoping Shin Megumi Tensei Digital Devil Saga for a while but it was always a bit pricey. Rented it like 6 or 7 years ago and thought it was pretty cool. But its always been a bit rare and pricy. Managed to get it for $13, it had been $35 for the longest ( were talking a used PS2 game here!) Got Other M for $8 and I have not even tried it yet. I have been kind of pissed with Metroid games since Prime 2 and have mostly heard bad press on this one. But for 8 bucks I had to see for myself. 

So not to mislead anyone this rant has nothing to do with the Xbox, at least not directly. Bill Gates is disgustlingly rich not because he is clever, a genius, or a good buisnessman. He is rich because he is a shameless huckster who will syphon every penny he can from anyone who makes the terrible mistake to buy his shit.

It strangely feels like I have made an actual physical move, something I am very familiar with. That dread of having to unpack boxes and figure out where stuff is.Yet there is also the excitement of a fresh start and puzzling out how to feng shui everything into a new place. I have been slow to get this page up to par much less post a blogg worthy of peoples time. My slow ass computer is partly to blame but I'm not the best at managing my time either. Anyway I'm still also putting time in a 1up, it seems there are some other folks besides myself who want to stay active over there until they officialy pull the plug.
