So this was my Memorial Day Weekend in a nutshell: Sleep, Nap, Eat, Tinker on the Laptop, Nap, Sleep. Rinse Repeat. Not the best way to spend what is the start of summer but it was hot outside (100+ degrees), the AC was nice and cold, and have you ever watched Investigative Discovery Channel? That is like crack. So I didn't move much, and most of my non phone gaming happened on Monday night, so that is my full disclosure.

This is the current weather situation here: a couple of days ago the weather decided to become an oven and it hit 110. There was no humidity so it was just hot, which isn't as bad as it sounds (don't believe me, I spent the majority of the day inside with air conditioning) and last night and today it is really windy and it will only be 90 degrees. This is what I get for living in a valley.

I'm getting off to a slow start this morning. I'd like to blame watching the late airing of the new Twin Peaks on Showtime, and I didn't even finish the big two part season debut. That is one odd show. So I'm a bit sluggish, but I am excited that the warm weather is here! See for the first week or so I am excited that it is warm outside (100 degrees), I don't have to worry about bringing a hoodie or jacket with me, I can wear my summer sneakers with the flowers

So I think the novelty of sorting/organizing my digital crap has worn off. For the past couple of days I took a break from organizing the Photo Drive, and I jumped on the Media Drive to do the same. Like I said in Monday's (or was it Tuesday) blog, I found more pictures so I threw those into a folder named Sort Photos and then I was off to clean up the Media Drive. The Media Drive was a lot easier because most things I could just toss, like I had copies of my micro SD Cards from my first Smart Phones. Yeah I don't know why I kept them, especially after I made the jump to iPhone, but I kept them, along with a ton of random documents, and other interesting yet unneeded items.

So I am at the point in Lego City Undercover where I'm debating on whether I should just go ahead and finish the game to 100% or move on to something else. See I am cleaning up little things in the game, collecting random items in story mode, and looking for the remaining five or six minifigures in the city. I could finish this if I want to put in the extra couple of hours but is it worth it? On one hand yeah because I like finishing the Lego games, but on the other side I am kind of over playing Lego City Undercover. I don't know which path I will take so we shall see next week.

Did anyone else get the Windows 10 Creators Update? The one that took forever and had two separate installs? I currently have it running and well so far it has my laptop feeling a bit sluggish especially with Chrome and Steam. It takes a second for things to get back up to speed. Its a minor annoyance, and something that will iron itself out, but I was just wondering if anyone else ran into some troubles.

So the past couple of days have been a bit odd here in my little piece of Sunny Southern California. Friday it was 104, a little toasty but not too bad. Yesterday I think it topped at 60 degrees and it left me with a sore throat, and my allergies hate me right now. Talk about fun. Good morning Pixlpeeps! So this is the usual morning routine: I wake up an hour before my alarm goes off. I have that extra hour in case I wake up late, which has happened, and I am not rushing to get things done so I can get going with my day. During this hour of just laying in bed, I have the local news playing, and I am on the iPad reading Twitter, checking Facebook, and maybe looking through Slickdeals. Over the past 24 hours I have had to use the “Hide All” feature on a couple of friends and this is why. Over the past year or so I have called people “Political Bandwagoners” because all of a sudden they have become so into politics this is all (most) that they post. Just like sports bandwagon guy, political bandwagon guy is just as annoying, and is only around for the ride until something else comes along.

Well hello new month. The fun and excitement with a new month begins again. I get to do fun things like look for my checkbook because bills (you would think at this point I would just keep the dang thing in one spot, but I make it difficult), filling out lists like this one

So I've been busy all day, a mix of playing some games, and sorting through my digital hoarding pile. Yeah so in the past I've said I'm a casual digital hoarder in that I like to keep random files, programs, and other digital goodies that I've collected for years. I have old (I mean OLD) papers and graphics projects from college still on some old CD-R's and now on a couple of external drives. One drive is for photos and video that I've taken...and some of my favorite memes from Reddit. The other drive is all documents, programs, zip files, and the like. When I wasn't playing some random PC game earlier today I was moving files from my laptop (and the laptop external drive) to the documents drive as well as pulling items off that drive to add to my laptop.
