Alright so I have some breakfast in me, and I think I am ready to type out the random thoughts I had about the games I played over the past week or so. I mean I had an idea yesterday but I didn't get around to putting them on digital paper, and currently I just finished breakfast after a morning trip to the Home Depot. I'm starting to get an idea of where everything is in the Home Depot. Anyways let's start out with what I have been playing.

So let's recap the current situation: Gym reopens and I'm excited. It's a 1000 degrees outside, so I go work out in an air conditioned room, then I go to the pool where it's a 1000 degrees outside and swim a couple of laps. I sit for a bit to dry off, then jump in the truck for the two minute drive to my house, than into an air conditioned house to take a shower. A couple of days of this and I now have a cold. I'm currently typing this with a stuffy nose, slight headache, and sneezing up a storm. We'll see if I decide to venture out for CD Friday. I also find it funny that I have a cold when it is 1000 degrees outside. Anyways that some personal randomness let's get started with this week's Quick Hits.

So yesterday I had this blog planned out where I was going to write a bit, get my thoughts out there and then hit the gym. Instead I got halfway through it, decided I could do better, and then went to the newly reopened neighborhood gym. My gym has been closed for a couple of months because some yahoos decided to break the fire sprinkler system which caused the building to flood and ruin the entire clubhouse space. Its open 24 hours a day and when business hours are over the employees shut the door that leads to the rest of the space leaving only the gym, ping pong room, and pool room with mini library open along with a couple of bathrooms. Anyways it reopened last weekend and yesterday was my first shot at it. The gym is back to normal except the two treadmills are still down, and it seems like two pieces of equipment haven't returned. Also the card entry pad isn't working yet so the gym door is still open. It was fun getting a sweat on, realizing how long it has been since I stepped foot in there and I ended that trip with a couple of laps in the pool. That's what kept me from finishing my blog. Good excuse? Cool, let's get back in the swing of things with what I played.

Ok so this is my fourth try at writing this blog. Fifth if you count my crazy idea of trying to blog on a plane, but I'm hoping when I am done typing this, I will be happy with it and I will hit post. On Friday I had one all written out, and I was editing pictures when I said “why”. I wasn't really happy with what I was trying to share with you good people, so I scrapped it. Saturday I tried again but after two paragraphs I figured out that playing a freemium game on my phone was a more interesting. Its not like I didn't want to write to you folks, I just felt that what I was writing wasn't worth sharing. So here we are, July the 3^rd or as I like to call it Fireworks Eve. By the way Happy Canada Day to you folks living above us here in the 48. Saturday afternoon the power goes out in my neighborhood and my neighbor's son in law comes over and asks if our Hydro is out. I figured he was talking about the power and I said yeah. He then wished me a Happy 4^th. Anyways let's get started with what I hope to be the Quick Hits I had in mind but didn't share.

Ok so Photobucket changed their service and they now want $400 a year...*clears throat* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, Netscape and Friendster thinks this is a solid idea. Anyways I have a blog all written out but I am currently looking for a place that hosts pictures. Any recomendations? 

So I figured you good people needed a break from my ramblings about whatever freemium game I was playing on my phone, or how my basketball team was doing in NBA 2K16 (I refuse to buy 17 because my team is so much fun to use and I don't want to start over) but I have a somewhat decent excuse as to why I was absent for the week: I was in Hawaii! I went back for a little over a week (like one day over a week) because we were house sitting/watching over my younger cousins and their little dog while their pops was donating bone marrow. I got to spend some time with my pops, my sister, and while my sister was at her club volleyball practice, my pops, his girl, and I watched WWE's Money in the Bank Pay Per View in the parking lot, on my phone (I do love technology) but more on the randomness of my trip later. Monday is reserved for What I Played, and let's get started.

Like everyone else here I've been watching all the goodies going on during E3, and for the most part it is underwhelming. I am expecting more from the biggest trade show for video games but instead I'm seeing a lot of the same games we've seen on older consoles back, and for all that is good why more Skyrim? I mean its slowly becoming Street Fighter II, with all the little upgrades, and hey its now on The Switch, and you can play it in VR. Ooohhh. I am excited over the new God of War game. I also liked the New Forza game, and of course Battlefront II. After that I was done with all the presentations. The new Marvel vs. Capcom game looked like a lot of fun but I own a couple of the previous games and I haven't been sucked into them. This game is a wait and see for me. I thought the name X-Box One X is dumb, the majority of X-Box offerings were destined for the bargain bin this time next season, some of the PS4 titles were iffy, and I fell asleep during the PC presentation. Other than the three games I liked, and the one I'm on the fence about, nothing of interest grabbed my attention.

I don't know Pixlpeeps, typing out Friday's Quick Hits on Saturday morning while in bed might be the new thing. It's comfy, the laptop isn't crazy heavy (nowhere near as light as my old Macbook Pro) and I like the view of my laptop screen and my ceiling. Speaking of ceiling, I need to do something with it like either paint a mural or well just paint a mural. Anything else could be considered weird and/or creepy. Let's get started with Quick Hits!

So I had this weekend project where I rediscovered my Playstation 2 library and decided to play a couple of the games. After some tweaking the games look good and I am enjoying playing some old favorites, and some games I didn't even play. The PS2 has become a new console to me again and this is what I will probably be playing for a bit.

It is Saturday and yes I may have skipped over the usual Quick Hits day, but I have a good reason: actually I don't, I was caught up in more hard drive spring cleaning. I think its fun to go through old files, and toss everything I no longer want into a folder that will be deleted at the end of the day. Since I did that and maybe watched an episode or two of House of Cards (by the way HOUSE OF CARDS IS BACK!) I did not do my usual Friday blog. Well it is Saturday and I am being super lazy and I am currently typing this edition of Quick Hits while still in bed
