Pixlpeeps what is up? I am back again, its Friday and I am ready to do nothing but watch television and maybe play some games. How has the week been treating you? It’s been basketball week here with The Aztecs taking their frustrations out on Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons. I was hoping for a cool headline like Aztecs send Mastodons back to the Ice Age, but no such luck. Anyways it is also the NCAA Tournament and guess who I picked to win it all?

Good morning Pixlpeeps and happy Pi Day! As the local news anchor said that got a chuckle “not the circle and delicious, but the squared.” So how have you good people been? Play some fun games this past weekend? Here in sunny Southern California we lost an hour of sleep and are now at the same time as the good people of Arizona. I miss that extra hour. Pixlpeeps what is up? How has the week been treating you good people? I’m excited the week is over but the sad part is that in the Pacific Time Zone it is time to move clocks up an hour. At least my random wake ups at 5am will now be 6am so I guess that is the silver lining to the whole thing. Anyways let’s get started with this week’s edition of Quick Hits with Chris.

Good morning Pixlpeeps! We have been in March for a couple of days and it is time to do a look back at what I played in February.

Good morning Pixlpeeps! It is a nice Friday morning here in sunny and warm Southern California and I am hoping to get this typed up quick so I can head out and do my morning walk, watch the random duck neighbors quack as they walk around, and then stop at the local Target afterward to pick up a CD. So how are you good people? Anyone going through BaD withdrawal? I’ve been checking out the blogs I have missed, and I kind of miss digging through my minifigure bins figuring out what the theme should be but other than that I am ready to get back to the regular Monday Friday schedule.

For my minifigure picture of the day I decided to showcase the minifigures that are not Lego. Last summer while roaming around the swapmeet I started buying these figures from a vendor I like to call Fake Lego Lady. She sold tons of these figures that are modeled after the Lego Minifigure. Some are direct ripoffs of current Lego sets while others are completely new concepts like Super Mario Bros., characters form the Marvel and DC Universes not represented in the Lego line, and I think I saw figures from some computer games. I figured what the heck, there’s nothing wrong in trying to have figures not made by Lego but fit into their universe so I started buying some, and soon I had a decent size collection that I would like to share with you good people.

 So this morning instead of digging through the minifigure bins I decided to go with another building block like figures for today’s picture of the day.
