Finally we get to the meat of the year, the games that came out in 2014 that I actually played.

After thinking about randomly selecting old games to play during holidays, and reading a lot of old D&D stuff, I came up with an interesting idea. Why not make a monster encounter table for games. I used the genres listed at allgame.com (when it was up), and the stats I came up with few month ago on my gaming habits. The result is below.

I started the day by going to Hope’s Cookies for cookies and John’s Village Mart for hoagies. That stuff was darn good!

Started the day with a little virtual fireplace. It's an Indie game on Xbox Live called simply Fireplace and you can set it up anyway you want and watch it burn. Toasty. I roasted my chestnuts too.

Took a quick trip to the mall at Plymouth Meeting to take the photo below at my local retro store, Jay St. Video Games. The traffic was horrendous and I got in and out of there as fast as I could.

Who gee! What did I play this year. So many games! I'll stick to what just came out this year and split this up into three parts: Regrets, Bought but Forgot, and Played. It'll all wind up with the last entry being my Game of the Year, or Goaty as I like to say it (yes I know it's actually GOTY).
