At this point, I'm pretty sure I've spent more time at the school campus where I work than my apartment. Basketball season is long gone (at least for home games) but I've found myself working long - if not longer - nights still due to another problem: vacant positions. I've probably mentioned this in previous blogs but at the start of February, an employee in charge of the 8th grade building quit after two days.

So I failed to post one more BaD blog in time. My excuse? Work. I'm drowning in overtime hours. I come home and all I have time to do is watch a hour or two of tv or game and then sleep. I wake up, clean and dress up and head back to work for 12 hours. That's what it has been like from Monday through Thursday. I can't blog with no energy and even less time.

So, remember a blog I posted a couple of weeks ago about encountering a glitch during a mission in Batman: Arkham City? You don't? Well, look it up.

Last night at work, I resumed additional duties at the 8th grade building. The new employee - a woman in her 50's or early 60's - was there for 2 days before she decided she couldn't hack it anymore. When I arrived on campus, the first thing I had to do was meet her so she could give me her building keys. Before she left, she asked me if I could clean the building around/under 4 hours like she was asked to (it's a part-time gig). I said, "Yes, but mostly it's closer to 3 - 3 1/2 hours and it depends on the mess". I could tell she couldn't believe that.

There's nothing wrong with challenging yourself, especially in areas that you wouldn't think to. I have a job that, while not physically difficult, makes me feel the strain after it's all over. In my previous blog post, I was dreading the long Friday in which the main event was the basketball game I'd have to clean up after. It would be the last home game of the season (the teams are wrapped up in district tournaments for the next 2 weeks; they're being conducted elsewhere) but it was Senior Night so it attracted more people (people that don't normally attend the games will come to see certain students play; there was probably some fancy schmancy pep rallies and shit) and the opposing team happened to be their archrival so that brought even more people.

I should be happy about work today. Today is the last home basketball game that I have to clean-up after. When it comes to things that have kicked my ass the most these past 3 months, it's pretty close between shitty winter weather and the baskeball season of the school where I work. After tonight, it's all over.

As I'm writing this, I woke up 30 minutes ago. It was 3 p.m. and I need to be at work by at least 4:30 p.m. So this will be brief.

I spent most of Saturday at work, juggling regular duties and cleaning up after two games: pee-wee and a make-up senior varsity game. I was told the pee-wee game was the last of the season and I truly hope so. If there's anything that's ruined my weekends for the past 2 months, its those fucking pee-wee games. Granted, they don't make as big a mess as the crowds for the 7th, Junior and Senior games but they still provide a measly excuse to drag my ass up there. I'd rather finish everything on Friday.

I'm really bad about committing to this. The last 2 days have been more work heavy and I didn't have a lot to add other than "I hate school sports and working in horribly cold temperatures. Wah".

I missed the opportunity to post a blog yesterday but I had my hands tied up with work. Here's some choices of upcoming albums that I'm looking forward to.
