Another month, another release. This time with two titles: Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. I can’t wait for the new Pokemon game this weekend, though I was hoping to get both that and PQ in one day (Shadow of the Labyrinth comes a week later) to avoid both the snow and Black Friday. I’m still ecstatic despite the time gap, but I still have some other games to play (especially Super Smash Bros.) as well as revisiting some other classics such as Half-Life. In the end this was a bad time to renew a couple of manga (Tiger & Bunny: The Movie Manga). Might as well return them to the library early this week before the snow gets any worse. My opinion on Tiger & Bunny at the moment: a bit similar to The Running Man.

I suppose this October has been okay with the release of Super Smash Bros and the new theme settings for the main menu (got myself that nifty blue Rosalina theme), but then of course something outright wrong had to happen at work: some guest actually died in the lobby today. I have no actual details on it since I had to be in the back to keep business going but I guess it’s no Halloween season without a corpse. Seriously out of all the places it had to be where I work, just right out of the blue.

Since last Friday I’ve only managed to play the demo of Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS two times, the second being a moment before writing this blog. Even though Little Mac isn’t playable in this demo I did have a good time with Mega Man despite his controls feel different from what I played in the last three Smash Bros. games. While I enjoyed myself I did have some issues with the controls in general. I hope the configuration menu will have a few things:

So it has been quite awhile since I last wrote a review for this place. As much as I wanted to write one I have just one problem, not GamerGate related mind you; it seems like I never have the energy to write a review like I did. I guess it’s kind of like doing book reports for me. Let me explain: let’s say you had to do a book report about every two weeks (because English instructors are a type of Grammar Nazi hell bent on global literacy) and you have a bunch of favorite books. You love the books you read and you want to talk about them as much as you can, but then after while when you have written about five or six reports in a particular format that doesn’t agree with your metal flow it starts to wear on you. And that’s the problem for me: I have a hard time trying to define the game I’m playing in a format like I have been using. Going over graphics, controls, story start to look similar because I’m using words to define what I’m looking at, or at least experiencing, at a level that everyone can understand and for someone who can process it but can’t explain it back that well in a common language, such as myself, that can be a problem. I like to rant but I have a hard time defining my ranting.

...Just so much easier for me to come up with a name for a dead chat room opposed to a blog title.

Just to get this out of the way: my grandfather passed away a couple weeks ago from different illnesses. I'm alright now, though I should have called off after hearing the news (Did not help the mood).

Since I've been slacking on the reviews I'm going to just start posting blogs until I find something interesting to review or after I've beaten Fire Emblem Awakening (not even close to beating).

This month has been a gamer gold mine for me. Granted before these little game finds happened I actually had a bad day: I got into an argument with manager. Not in real trouble, just a heated moment.
