I haven't played every 2015 I wanted to (MGS 5, for example) but the one that was a surprise was Dying Light. I'm not a fan of zombies in general and I usually don't play survival horror games yet the game mechanics - weapons handling, item managment and especially parkour - was so well-implemented that I found myself devoting around 64-65 hours on this monster. The look of the city was also gorgeous and the various zombies provided different levels of challenge. And they could also be scary as hell: outrunning or manuvering virals at night made for some intense, scary gaming moments. I made a few friends in co-op mode and co-op was so much fun. The most fun in co-op aside from Rocket League.

The Evil Within scared me off due to the few Let's Play vids I've seen of it. In Dying Light, it's possible for you to fight off zombies in a given area but there are A LOT of them. Also, it's a big world so there's plenty of exploring to do. I'm sure that there's so many areas or items I haven't found. 

Like I said, Dying Light has that balance where you're powerful enough to survive but not overly so. At that point, it would be boring to me.

My favorite MGS game (haven't finished 4, Peacewalker or 5 at this point). Funny enough, I finished this game on the PS Vita although I rather would've done it on the PS2. The Vita version is quite good and I was able to stick with the game by having it in a moble capacity. 

Anyways, best story, good characters (OMG, The Boss!!!), amazing presentation and enough lunacy on display to make it a bonafide MGS game. Some didn't like the menus (especially for healing yourself) but I didn't mind it. 

Bought my Slim model the night after the PS4 was announced at E3 2013. As soon as I found out that the PS4 wasn't backwards compatible (and I didn't and still don't trust the PS Now service), I figured it was time to get a PS3. Devoured so many games that I spent the majority of 2013 on the PS3. I still use it as my de facto blu-ray/streaming media player (mostly because of the universal remote) but I still need to finish quite a few games: Just Cause 2, Ni No Kuni, GTA IV, Dragon Age Origins, MGS 4, God of War III, the Jak & Daxter series and so on. 

Whatever expected gripes I have for the UI, its still an amazing system. 

Not to my knowledge. I'm sure its fantastic on PC.

I enjoyed Helldivers. Bought it the week it came out last year. Multiplayer is fine but it helps when you're with a group who works together and won't get frustrated with accidental deaths. Hopefully I'll have more people to play it with now.

The Legend of Zelda: Sound and Drama (contains the music for the first game and A Link To The Past).

Sorry about that. PS3 and 360 versions were in development and then scrapped due to the hardware limitations. I love last gen but I'd have to agree that they made the right decision on this one.
