Twin Snakes was the first MGS game i ever played, untill i played it i neever understood the hoohar. before i bought it i got one of those free DVDs with those game magazines and i saw Grey Fox slice up all the soldiers in the hallway and i was captivated 
Master Quest is relentless, could get past the first dungeon. But that was years ago, i'm sure i'm worse now
I don't think i could divide it by platform, there's some games I still need to blay like Earthbound or that Dragon Quest game on the PS2. I've only just started Vagrant Story.
And i've played so many DS and GBA games Knights in the Nghtmare and Metroid Fusion/GoldenSun are close

I loved TS, back when Silicon Knights was good. Cyborg Ninja was the best thing in that game though
