Yeah, WayForward is great. I was really happy with what they did with Double Dragon Neon. I've never played Shantae but am planning on buying it on the 3DS VC soon. I have Risky's Revenge on Steam. I skipped DuckTales Remastered because I already own it on NES. That was the main reason why I wanted a NES again. It's one of my favorites and isn't compatible with clone systems. I don't have a Wii unfortunately.
I'll probably play it after replying to comments and blogs lol. 
It's a great game Pete, but definitely not for everybody. Just about all the games in the whole series are pretty hardcore when you get down to it. I think this one takes the cake though with the dual screens and how weak your default gun is. It was intense, but so satisfying.
I hear ya Snee. These games are intense and demand practice and a lot of patience. I've always had a soft spot for the series though. Contra on NES is one of my favorite games of all time. I don't think I could ever possibly get sick of playing it.
It's not that long of a game. Well, for a portable action game, maybe it is. It took me a while to beat it, but that was mostly because it's really hard. I'm still debating Metal Slug 7. It's kind of pricey online. 
I was looking forward to Mortal Kombat X untill I read about the shady DLC practices. You have to pre-order to get Goro and there's a "Kombat Fighter Pack" which includes 4 characters for only $30! I guess you could just wait untill they release a complete edition down the line, but that kind of crap sickens me.
It's interesting to hear your thoughts on the PS4. Consoles are becoming more and more like PCs, except not nearly as good in some ways, yet better in others. I'm pretty much done with all of that besides the 3DS and what I got now. Plus Steam. I was looking forward to Teletubbies in Time though. 
Yeah and don't forget about the mass confusion that the Wii U name caused. Nintendo has been doing this kind of crap for years. How many different models of Game Boy and DS were there in the end?
I wouldn't spend $150 on any game, but then again, I'm a cheap bastard lol. Did you hear that somebody on Youtube beat The Order in 5 hours? With unskippable cut scenes. That's kind of ridiculous.
Who's the final enemy in Sign? I'm just curious. It didn't matter what I tried against I-No in Guilty Gear X2 Reload. The fucking bitch was impossible! She'd unleash special attacks that'd take at least 1/4 of your life bar.... even when blocked!
