My Rarest Games I Own whats Yours??

Posted on 10/06/2014 at 11:29 AM | Filed Under Blogs

By now Metroid Prime Trilogy has become a rarity. Luckily, I bought the game on the same year as it was released and I consider it one of my favorite video game expenses. To also add the rarity, it's the edition with the Steel case and with the concept art and Metroid Prime trilogy plot summary panphlet.

Except the father and religious part, I can relate to the rest or atleast some of the ideas.

I was born with Asperger syndrome, so I had to cope with some of the problems here that are common for the people that have it. I did have some psychologial help and I did have a few friends, but more the most part I never tried to be outgoing because I found it awkward and I wasn't one for being friends with everybody. Some of it is still true to this day, even if I do have some good relations with some people and some few friends, but even then, I often get careless with that.

Thanks for the share Julian.

Retro Game of the Week: Sonic the Hedgehog

Posted on 10/05/2014 at 11:04 AM | Filed Under Blogs

I'm younger than most here, so I didn't experience the original on a Genesis, but with Sonic Mega Collection Plus on the Xbox and I agree on its greatness. It's still very playable to this day and I never get tired of it.

I would say that it feels weird is that there wasn't spin dash like in the next games.

Reviews are Biased!

Setting aside problems with reviews on popular websites, yeah, people treating reviews like a gospel or something to live for are at beat clueless. I used to follow reviews for example, but as I got mature I realized that we should always form our own opinion.

Besides, except for some, I pretty much decide what game I want by simply seeing gameplay videos or Let's Play like game ala Totalbiscuit.

Octoberfest: Scary Horror Game Month!

Posted on 10/05/2014 at 10:41 AM | Filed Under Blogs

I'm not very good when it comes to Horror, since I easily scare my pants and be a pansy. I do own Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, but that wasn't scary except for an atmospheric part. I also played some internet horror games that I can't remember.

I am trying to get into Horror though, and I have Amnesia and another indie horror called Lone Survivor and I want to play them during this month.

Boarded Up: I love me some board games

Posted on 10/05/2014 at 10:35 AM | Filed Under Blogs

I indeed grew up with board games around me and they were an importance everytime my family had a trip. I mostly grew up with the games from Hasbro and some basic ones, my favorites being Battleship and Uno, which I still play to this day.

Other than that, I would like to try some of the advanced games like Magic: The Gathering and the one of Game od Thrones and also buy Cards Against Humanity.

What is your favorite Resident Evil Moment?

From the only game i've played of the series (The Darkside Chronicles), i'd say the climatic final battle with the bad ending I got (it put me on tear man). The game wasn't particulary scary, but I did found the Ashford house at the island to be quite unnerving and atmospheric.

September 2014 Recap

I also bought the Bundle you mentioned here, but decided to go for the lower pack of only Hammerwatch, Gunpoint and SteamWorld Dig. Hammerwatch is very fun so far and Gunpoint is looking very interesting from the small 18 minutes I played. Haven't tried SteamWorld.

It is about time...

Actually it's more on where I left the game (the mines). Because I was playing the Virtual Console version and I can exit and return where I left, my last play was kept in the mine's boss battles and I'm afraid I could screw up once I return.
