Had the Genesis version. One of the few games I actually purchased, most I rented. I was a big sports game fan back then, so the over the top antics were icing on the cake.

The music of FF7 is highly overrated. The electronic soundscape is dated, video gamey, and hokey compared to FF6's timeless classical influences. Dancing Mad is Uematsu's tour de force.
Game is awesome, but I wish there was an option to play with the traditional setup of having all the dots on the board at once. I got tired of having to go with the flow the game forced upon me.
Another World is a game of figuring out what precise actions will enable you to survive the various scenarios presented and progress the game/story. It's Dragon's Lair with more player control. Nowhere similar enough to Pitfall to say it's a better version of it. It's a worse Flashback, I'd say.
Planescape is a party based CRPG, with pausable real-time combat, using DnD 2nd edition rules and character development. Most of the problems in the game are solved through the extensive dialogue system, with lots of branching based on what conversation options you pick. It's nothing like Diablo.
Another example of Konami 16 bit gold. Was graphically impressive at the time.
Stranger still that the crossover comes in the form of a tactical game, a genre nearly extinct outside of PC and handhelds. Major respect to the publisher for such a high profile release of this sort of game.
Yeah, cool game. Konami used to be the shit. Another SNES shmup that's up there with this, R-Type 2 and G3 is Space Mega Force/Super Aleste
You definitely have unique taste, so it's interesting to see. Also I haven't played any of them
My games of the decade were Terraria, Dying Light, Fallout: New Vegas, Dragon's Crown, Hitman, Vanquish, Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead, Civilization 5.
Oh jeez there's fisherman too? So much in this game I'm still not aware of.
I maxed out the stone trades with my master mason, he won't take anymore. Is that permanent? He's not offering for quartz either, I guess it's random what they sell. Maybe I'll just make another mason out of one of the unemployed villagers
1000 emeralds is a lot of trading!
How much enchanting is good enough to face the ender dragon? Should I enhanct entire diamond armor set to max? What's the minimum I can get away with?
