I honestly can not disagree with anything you said, but I just found its depressing nature a bit surprising in a humorous way.

That is odd. I love platformers.
Only one I've played is DKC. Man, that game looked amazing in its day.
And my favorite is one of the most expensive things on the menu. Blue Cheese Crusted Filet with Blue Cheese Wedge Salad and Aussie Fries. I wish I had my half-off discount still ... but I don't wish I was still working for $2.13/hour and potentially waiting on people who don't tip two hours past closing. So it's all relative. ... And that half off thing only covered burgers and Joey Menu items, or whatever was under $10 I think, so never mind.
Mockingjay is the one I want to read (end of Hunger Games trilogy). Otherwise, I don't get around to books very often, but I do want to read some non-fiction about the economy, cause I feel like I don't understand things well enough. However, I am sure I will read and write plenty in the upcoming months for the Master's, sooo ...
Dammit, you're reading a giant series of tomes and I have yet to finish a book most people can finish in a few hours. I'm slipping. lol
Cyclops is on the bottom right of that cover shooting lasers out of his eyes ... come on, man. lol Nah, I guess those of us more familiar with the old cartoon show know more about him, since he has only been in Origins: Wolverine as far as the movies. So it's not like you committed a crime.
I wish someone plopped a free laptop like that on my desk. Maybe once I move into the new position and actually have a desk, it will come.
Yeah, cons are fun, but the stuff is overpriced.
The bands at SGC were my favorite part. Looks like you got a pretty good band there. Don't know that I'd call them metal either, but they very vaguely remind me of some of the songs used at the start and close of FMA episodes, so they are fine with me.
Glad to know you got to go somewhere cool like this. I do like to lounge and watch movies, but it's good to get out.
Jazz and cats. Good times. Also good to have a home.
I really should have applied myself more for scholarships, I have no idea how my GPA was ALWAYS higher, yet my friend got an academic scholarship (not full-ride, but a decent sum) and did not even apply he said. Parents probably did it for him, meanwhile I applied myself and nada. At least the job paid my room and board and when I promoted I got $400/mo on top of that for savings, but yeah, consoles honestly just seem irresponsible right now.
I might buy a gaming-capable laptop though, so there is hope for me yet. lol
