Ring Fit Adventure is the best fitness game out there. Even better, and you may like this, is that Ring Fit Adventure is also a competent RPG, with a skill tree and everything!
I have enough space to do most of the fitness games, but not Kinect. If I moved my 360 to where I had enough space, the skylights in that room would not make it work right. So that's why I never got Kinect.
I've never been into comic books, including manga. Not sure why, though. I do have a few video game manga, though. I have a Phoenix Wright manga that wasn't good. Neither was the Splatoon manga. The Dragon's Crown manga was at least halfway decent. Did they do a manga of Link's Awakening? That's my favorite Zelda game.
Super Mario World is my favorite Mario 2-D platformer. Yes I even like it better than SMB3. Although sometimes I flip flop and say that Yoshi's Island is my favorite Mario 2-D platformer. It's one of the few Mario games I've completed to 100%. All 96 exits and everything! And unlike a lot of other early console launch games, Super Mario World has aged very well.
I only have two very minor problems with Mario World. One, the power-ups aren't as creative as they were in SMB3. However, they are more versatile. The other problem is one I didn't noticed until I started playing Super Mario Maker. And that's the level design in Mario World isn't very distinct, and backdrops can be pretty much interchangable to give a level a new setting. But again, just real minor problems.
I have the Prof. Layton movie on DVD.
First of all, thanks for the link to the English verison of the Phoenix Wright anime. I knew about the anime but I didn't know you could get it on disc. So I've added it to my Christmas wish list for my family to get for me! :)
You know what I'd like to see is the Phoenix Wright live action movie. I know it's horrible but I don't care. I wanna watch it anyway. I'm pretty tolerant to bad movies considering my favorite TV show of all time is Mystery Science Theater 3000.
When you do your blog series, I hope you consider the Kirby anime. It may be Saturday morning fluff, but it's pretty good for what it is.
I finished the first set of cases from The Great Ace Attorney. Since it took me so long to do that, I took a break from it for a while so I could play some shorter games and work on games I'm reviewing. Some of the in-between games include Bowser's Fury (overblown Odyssey level), Sonic Colors Ultimate (horrible controls), Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania (Fun but they messed up Monkey Target), ActRaiser Renaissance (Great except for the tower defense stuff they added to it), and Metroid Dread (I'm enjoying it so far). I WILL get back and finish the second set of cases in The Great Ace Attorney real soon, though. Probably after I finish Metroid Dread.
Only thing I didn't like about Metroid Fusion is the linearity and how they blocked off sections of levels for the sake of the story. Otherwise it was really fun.
I played the arcade version of Minecraft Dungeons at Dave & Busters. Plays like a cross between Gauntlet and a beat 'em up, but you got a real life trading card each time you played, so that was cool.
New Pokemon Snap is looking like it'll be my GOTY this year.
Slime Rancher seemed to be pretty popular for a while. I never played it, but would like to.
Did you get any trick or treaters for Halloween. We only got 7.
Maybe it's not on GamePass. Oh well, if you do ever check it out, you'll have to let us know what you think.
