It's a little rough around the edges, but still a good idea for a game.
It's hard to get achievements on classic arcade games since they were designed to be super hard quarter munchers. I'm proud that I got all the achievements on Dig Dug and Pac-Man Championship Edtion on the 360.
I never was good at 720 or APB. I always thought it was interesting that Championship Sprint was based on an old black and white Atari game from the 70's. I stink at Defender, but I do like the Atari 2600 version, surprisingly. I've always been good at that one, even as a little kid. Gauntlet was huge back in the day. I never got to play it right away because all the bigger kids kept hogging it. First time I got to play it was when some really nice teenagers let me join in. I didn't know about Joust 2 until I saw it on one of the collections. Had I seen it in arcades back in the day, I would've freaked out. Love that game. I have a lot of good memories playing Rampage with my brothers, especially the newer ones. As a kid, I was always scared of Sinistar. I would try to walk as far away from the machine as possible in arcades. Smash TV was a 90s favorite for me and my friends. I think it's interesting it was made by the same guy who made Defender and Robotron.
Did you play a lot of Alex Kidd as a kid? The trailer for the DX version made it look really good. And when they said "revamped boss battles" I was sold since the old ones suck. But nothing seemed really revamped besides the graphics and sound in the final version. Thanks for reading and commenting!
Yeah after playing the game for a while, I can understand Cris Tales' mixed reviews. The demo made it look really good, though!
I've known a few truckers in my life, some of them family. I can't imagine any of them wanting to play Gals Panic. Or Puzzle de Pon or Magical Drop. :)
No my favorite character is Estel Aguirre. She's the super strong police woman boss you fight a couple of times. She's fun to play as because she's fast like Blaze but really strong!
I just got finished reviewing the Streets of Rage 4 DLC! I like how you can play as my favorite character now! Can you guess who that is? I really liked Streets of Rage 4. It was one of my favorite games of last year.
Right now I'm reviewing an RPG on the Switch called CrisTales. Really neat time traveling mechanics. Axiom Verge is a great game! I reviewed it on the Wii U. Can't wait for the sequel!
There was a Peter Piper PIzza in the town where I live for a short while, but it closed down. It had a Monkey Ball arcade game that I hadn't played before. Not the original with the banana joystick, but a newer one where you won tickets and used a trackball. I won a lot of tickets with that. And what's so adult about Magical Drop?
