I've definitely grown fond of PixlBits.

That is an awesome Man Cave! Although I technically have a room where I keep most of my gaming stuff, it's not really a cool room like this. I also don't collect anything, so I wouldn't have any cool figures and stuff to dec it out with.
Awesome stuff, thanks for sharing.
I love my Wii U, but the lack of games lately has left me frustrated. I really wanted to get Aliens: Colonial Marines for it, but they pushed back the release date for the Wii U version. Now that it's been released for other platforms and completely bombed, I guess that's a blessing in disguise.
I was going to get Resident Evil: Revelations for my 3DS, but now that there's a Wii U version coming out, and I'm looking for a new game for it, I'll probably get the console version instead.
They'll announce a new Mario at E3 this year, and show off some Smash Bros. I'm sure they'll do fine with their 1st party titles, but I think you're right - it probably won't sell like the Wii did.
I just want to give major props for the Robert Jordan comment. He was my favourite author and wrote what I think is the best fantasy series of all time.
More high fantasy in Final Fantasy would bring the series back to it's roots in a big way.
This is my favourite tactical RPG. I loved playing Tactics Ogre when it was remade for the PSP, but Final Fantasy Tactics was my first experience with a game like this, so it wins on nostalgic merits. I also prefer the story in FFT to TO.
I was going to try out the PSP version a few months back, but then Fire Emblem Awakening came out and I decided to go with something new instead.
That totally sucks about the laptop. Mine bit the bullet there a while ago, but it was pretty old and I saw it coming. Hopefully you can find something soon for the HD captures.
I've seen so many different prices for Contra: Hard Corps around the net. I've seen it CIB for as little as $40 and then into the hundreds, boxed for about the same ($40) and cart-only for like $30. I don't know if that's representative, though, because I've seen all kinds of different pricing schemes on it!
I do like Hard Corps: Uprising. I came off a little harsh on it in the article, but it just wasn't the game I was looking for. It was still a fun game. I seem to remember it appearing in an intro for Bullet Heaven at some point, haha.
Interesting is a good way to put it. I don't have a ton of experience with Genesis soundtracks, but I know that I tend to not like the music that came from it because of it's soundchip. I always found the OST of Contra: Hard Corps to deviate from that somehow. It's not amazing stuff, but it definitely did the trick.
Yeah, I'll probably have to eBay Contra 4 eventually, haha. I have seen it crop up here and there, but it definitely (and unfortunately) wasn't a big release. That's cool that it comes with Contra and Super C! When I first beat Metroid: Zero Mission no the GBA I found out that it unlocked the original Metroid. I always thought that was a cool feature.
I liked the one on the Wii. It feels a litte glossy, but it was fun. No worries on the blabbing, I don't mind the conversation at all, haha.
You are too right, and I definitely endorse Pixlbits.
