Love Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Been listening to stuff like Vs. EP and Language of My World ever since I got The Heist for my birthday this year.

Nacogdoches; and don't worry, had I not been there for four years, I couldn't have spelled or pronounce it, either. lol It's thought to be the first town in Texas, so it still has a very Native American name.
Tahlequah is a cool name as well. And thank you.
I saw The Sword at Ozzfest 2008. Literally planned on not seeing them, and came back six or seven times after trying to leave for a main stage band, but just couldn't. They were so good. Deserved much more of a crowd than they got, although a lot of people lined up for Sevendust at the next stage over did seem to be watching, so that's good.
Bush is a great band as well. Depressing, but in a weirdly non-depressing hypnotic way in pretty much any song I've heard from them. Hell, "Comedown" is probably their happiest song that got radio play, and just read that title. lol I love music from the 90s in general though, and they have a great, unique sound.
I'd like to see all of the bands you mentioned as well. And Gn'R I used to like, but lately Axl's voice is just grating on me, even in old recordings; might be how unlikeable he can be influencing how I hear it.
Saw that news story of the woman who found her dog in the wreckage all over the news. She seemed pretty calm for someone in that situation, very strong woman, glad she had her prayers answered.
Enjoy your Sunday off!
Wow.
Yeah, I was also wondering how that cable stuff was going to work. But hey, as Epic Greenman pointed out, it is stackable and would easily go on top of our Time Warner DVR. So there's that.
The cloud-computing thing brought about the same doubts from me that you had here after I read the Kotaku article, then asrealasitgets' blog on it.
In regards to Bloody Roar 8, I can live without it, but I gotta have my Bonestorm.
The pre-rendered stuff should never surprise anyone. Ever since Killzone 2, I've just come not to expect anything shown before the actual game is out to be actual gameplay footage.
Popeye would be an awesome ghost. I actually like spinach. Never used to, but I do now.
For me the "all in my head part" was never tech, as I was totally ignorant of that until recently, it was consoles = fun and games, PCs = work, school, ocassionally games I found boring, personally (or just didn't care for because I was only playing them due to my mom being a computer teacher and constantly having to stay late with her), like Wolfenstein (what? I didn't like it at the time), Gizmos and Gadgets, Lemmings, Myst, Oregon Trail, Vector Shooter, etc.
So personally I welcome how blatantly these new consoles are like PCs, but will be boxes you just plug straight into the TV, so there won't be that mental divide for me. And yes, I could just buy an XBOX controller and plug my PC into the TV, but for very dumb, emotional reasons brought on by classical conditioning, it's just not the same at all.
Oh, so no hard-edged "I hate Microsoft now" blog? How politically correct.
In all honesty, I like that the box can do other things and have no problem with the focus being on more than games. It's the stuff about Kinect, used games, and online that are killing it for me. But we'll see.
I like the cut of your jib.
