I don't know much about Canadian beer, but I also find Budweiser, Coors, Keystone and co. to be about as similar as Coke is to Pepsi, so I'm with you there. I forget which one of those makes my dad sick when he drinks it.

This sounds a lot like Myst to me, when it first came out. Gorgeous, but not combat-oriented, definitely more about the puzzles. Of course, this one apparently gives you adequate clues; maybe it's cause I was still really young at the time, but Myst just frustrated me, and I never did figure out where to go.
I hope your cousin has more luck finding jobs out of the gate; one year anniversary of my graduation, and I'm still not where I want to be. Oh well.

Yeah, I don't know that I'd like it better than the first one, but to each his own.
I don't even remember that much about two, except: bad guy was Whiplash, Don Cheadle replaced Terrence Howard and they had an army of Iron Man suits/War Machine, whatever, there was a car race, and Bill O'Reilly was in it for some strange reason. Also, Cheadle crashes Downey Jr.'s party at one point. Outside of that, details are hazy for me.
I'd imagine either it's "real," or Microsoft "leaked" it so people would stop saying always-online was their plan.
