Chris Farley, Adam Sandler generation SNL isn't really that far past my own time, honestly; I love that "live in a van down by the river" sketch Farley did, Sandler's silly Weekend Update songs (and the Chanukah ones) and at the very least most of my own generation seems to have grown up with Tommy Boy/Billy Madison etc. Will Ferrel was one of their best I thought. I usually think his movies are at least not horrible too, and I especially liked Taladega Nights and Anchorman. Point is, I wouldn't feel too old, most in my generation stopped watching a while ago, too.
That said, I am much more frightened by how god-awful Sandler's recent movies look than by an SNL I can flip away from ...
