FFVI, FFVII, and FFVIII were memorable intros. Also Parasite Eve and Xenogears.
A Link to the Past and Super Metroid also had memorable intros, particularly the brief voice clip from Dan Owsen in the latter.

Zero Mission and FF Tactics Advance were two of my favorite GBA games. I wish they'd release Tales of Phantasia on Virtual Console, even with its slightly mangled localization.
Good remake, I picked this up so I could complete my Final Fantasy collection at the time. It got lost in the shuffle as it came out right before Final Fantasy XII. This game was ball bustingly hard.
I never did dabble much in themes, but I guess I should. I wouldn't mind a Xenoblade or Bravely Default theme. Might have to check them out now. I do have a Valkyria Chronicles theme on my PS4.
You know me, I like RPGs and SRPGs, especially the Japanese ones. Also adventure games, classic arcade games.
And yes, I do like fighting games as they're where I make my rare appearances online. I've always loved the character designs and the movesets.
I never have been into sports or FPSs, though there are exceptions to the latter.
This was a good update, and I also appreciated that in the "prologue" (classic levels) that they included the Cement Factory, which was cut from most home versions including the NES version.
I definitely want the Switch, and Gravity Rush 2 is also on my wish list. Man, so many games. On the 24th alone three games I really wanted came out.
Mad props to your Metal Gear Collection, my friend. That is a collection after my own heart. Konami should be sending you Christmas cards every year. :)
I enjoy the Tales Series. Symphonia is my favorite, natch. Hearts R was my trigger for getting a PSTV so I could play it on my big screen.
Anxiety and depression suck ass.
