I just beat Virtue's Last Reward about two weeks ago! It took me over 47 hours O_O But man, it was so good! I still need to get Zero Time Dilemma as well, and the new Phoenix Wright! Too many good games to play.
The Wii U is a great investment

I'm planning to get DQVII will probably have to wait till the end of the year when my ridiculous amount of overtime hits lol. I definitely want to get it before it becomes really scarce, as I'm sure will happen.
I played the original God Eater on PSP and am actually in God Eater 2 right now on PS4. These games are the most fun with some other people. Also: SO ANIME lol
I only played The Sands of Time out of that trilogy but man, what a great game! I played through the whole thing twice. The Forgotten Sands was a recent PS+ game that I'm hoping to play at some point.
Well I know which of those I'd recommend
And you may well enjoy it. Like I said, it's not bad but it's firmly B-tier at best and the expectations (which I believe were mostly justified) were so much higher. I'd be interested in your opinions when you finally get to it.
Your character from the 360 will carry over to the X1 though, so at least you won't lose anything. Rise of Iron doesn't support the older consoles anyway, so that works out for you. But I know it's not cheap buying for the new systems.
The main complaint I've heard about Mankind Divided is that it's more of the same, which I guess is true but seriously, it's been FIVE YEARS since the last Deus Ex game. There are not too many of these! And while I can't comment on the story as a whole yet, I really like it so far. It has a good mystery/conspiracty vibe going.
You should get Song of the Deep. It's only $15 and isn't too long.
I played No More Heroes. It's fun, if a little shallow. I've had its sequel in my backlog for years now. Really need to get on that lol. DKC Returns is really hard, like you said, but the game has simultaneous co-op, which is cool but it makes the game harder in my opinion. Stick with single player for a better chance at finishing it.
Went back and read your two previous blogs. Sucks when plans fall apart. Sometimes a change is what you need. I hope things start to work out...without taking away all your gaming time. Earthlock isn't going to play itself
Filling up the card...that's the real game
