Lol! Well, my current job was found on Craigslist, so it's not all bad.
Maybe you'll get lucky, and he just means he found a game called Blood Sports on SNES. Otherwise, run.

I thought you had to order that Zelda book online. It's in brick-and-mortars like Barnes and Noble? Well, might be making a trip today once my car comes back home. Or tomorrow.
I should read more graphic novels. Have to say though, I actually like the hyper-stylized and more realistic stuff, so we differ there. Only ones I own currently that I know of are Batman Noel and Watchmen. Noel is definitely trying to be more realistic, and looks great, aside from a couple character faces, like Superman's, that don't look right to me. Otherwise, I love the artwork, though. Then again, I'd say Watchmen is closer in style to the graphic novel you posted, which I also love. I'll have to read more of them to figure out my preference, but for the time being, as long as the art doesn't look like crap, I'm good.
Favorite part of the Trowler was the breakdown around 4 or so minutes in, and continues until.... well, I guess it's just easier to say I really like the second half.
Really dug the 80s (early 90s?) vibe of the Pat Travers. "Snortin Whiskey, drinkin cocaine" are the lyrics, and these guys are dressed like that and rocking the way they are? Might as well be the anthem for the 80s as I see it. lol Of course, I'm seeing it as someone who was alive for none of that decade, so mileage may vary.
I actually like the incorporation of other media, provided the games are still quality. For instance, the main reason I'd consider buying a PS3 at this point is that I could watch Blu-Rays on it AND play Bioshock Infinite. Then I'd have a new Blu Ray player AND a new console that connects to the internet. Win-win-win.
Still, it was an interesting trip down memory lane seeing what you mentioned, particularly the Power Glove and Superscope, and I agree the social aspect of some of this stuff is annoying and creepy if it's not immediately obvious how to turn it off. I actually spent a few minutes yesterday trying to help an ex girlfriend get a Spotify playlist she was listening to off her facebook feed. And that pause when your head turns feature sounds incredibly frustrating. I'll tell it to pause when I want it to pause, dammit!
So I see your point, but at the same time I don't think having a machine that can do things besides gaming is a bad thing, as long as it doesn't undermine the games... or have an always-online requirement, or get rid of backwards compatibility, those two things bother me, or at least the latter would if I had owned a 360 or PS3.
Yeah, I decided to get their entire studio album discography in high school, and continued with Death Magnetic my Freshman year of college. I still want to get Garage Inc., cause I do love their covers, but every time I see it I'm just like "I don't have $20 for this right this second," and there's usually something right next to it that's on sale that I really want, like Foster the People's CD when I bought it.
Saw them at Ozzfest in '08, also a very positive vibe. Funny that you saw them the year St. Anger came out, and I saw them the year Death Magnetic came out. What are the odds we both saw them the year of an album release? lol
My personal favorite by them is Ride the Lightning, overall, but Justice is amazing.
Well, that's understandable, I mean a movie is hard wo... wait. Oh. Oh.. Ooooooooooh..... !!!!!
Well, I didn't watch it until late last night... lol
Yeah, it looks like the HD version of an NES Konami/Capcom platformer. Looks good to me.
Yeah, I didn't think there'd be gameplay videos up yet, but it looks like fun to me.
I don't think it comes out until later this year, but I'm thinking of getting it myself.
Favorites were Bioshock the Suessical, and How Green Was My Pokemon Then. Meaning the one about Dr. Suess taking on Bioshock and Silent Hill, and the one where Link kills a Pokemon.
The Snakes on a Plane one was good, too. Snake knows you can see him, that's not the point; it's that he's hiding thousands of snakes and you'll never fi... awwww, you found the bathroom where all the snakes are in a cardboard box full of porn. Well, damn. Snake hands it to you, you're pretty good.
Thanks for sharing these, could always use a laugh!
