As always, great sketches! Looks like a much older and more realistic drawing of the Adventure Time kid. I dig it.

It does suck, but at least it was family I was helping, and there were breaks in between the heavy stuff. Can't complain too much, I got a workout and some food out of it. Not how I'd ideally spend my Saturday, but not a waste of one, either.
SNES was great. And that's cool you got $20! I can't say I worked for free either, as the margarita my brother got me (Coronarita, I should say), was about $8.50, and the burger my dad got me was $8.99, plus taxes I may have technically made out with more than $20.
Good times indeed!
Sweet! I actually never got into Zelda when it was on SNES, it looked boring to me at the time, and my older brother's girl friend (that space is there for a reason, they were just best friends growing up) had it, but every time I played it, I just died, and got upset at those guys on the bridge with the arrows.
I played a bit of it through emulation, and now I can appreciate how much less hand holding there was in it than 3D Zeldas, and hell, I didn't think I'd like Ocarina of Time until I bought it towards the end of the N64's life, when Majora had been released already. Now those 3D titles are some of my favorite games.
At least I haven't stayed totally stagnant from when I was four until now. lol
It was an awesome system; so much so, I kind of want my own. Maybe a hybrid of old consoles like coolseltzer mentioned.
I've never been a huge JRPG, strategy, tactics, etc. gamer, but SNES was great for those from all accounts I've read. It was also great for action/platformer gamers like myself that prefer the pick-up-and-play variety. I think only the PS2 would rival it in terms of library quality and diversity, and I know you love collecting those PS2 games. Both great systems.
Yeah, that would probably be the best bet. Personally, I kinda want that Nintoaster thing or whatever it's called in AVGN videos.
Considering I don't own a Wii, don't plan on owning one or a Wii U, and never played the series past Melee, I don't think I can have much of a strong opinion on this. So no fits will be thrown. lol
From what I'm seeing on Google Images, I do like toon Link as well as the more realistic Link in that game, as far as aesthetically.
Yikes. I hope at least she got a decent sum for it, or did she know what she was doing with it?
Well, they look to be around $20-$40 on Amazon if you want one...
That's not surprising. For many people, that thing is the golden age of gaming. Not even "represents," just is. lol
Have a lot of great memories playing it myself, even opted to play it over my friend's 360 in college. Street Fighter II: Turbo is just too damn fun.
