Were you born then Cary? I was born in 77. There was also a teaser to the first Star Wars film in 1976. If you mean something else I'm sorry my trivia knowledge is "derp". lol.

Loved the play-thru! This game oozes 2D platforming charm! Who's the adorable green clad archer girl? She looks like the princess from Brave. lol.
Score! Last Ninja gains a level! (Final fantasy fan fare) Sorry, the Hyrulian musicians are on strike today so I did the best I could at such short notice!
My question is why the word femi-nism? "Equality" is supposed to be inclusive to everyone yet we're dealing with a word that only includes one gender. I'm sorry, but the very term is alienating for that reason. If feminists would simply call themselves "egalitarians" or "equalists" I'd begin feeling a lot more comfortable. Likewise if they also talked about "troublesome men's issues" with equal fervor they would come off as more genuine. I'm not saying all energy & effort should suddenly shift to men's problems exclusively. I simply want men's rights to be acknowledged along with women's rights.
I'm sorry Blake, but it's been my experience feminism is NOT that simple. Every cause claims to have noble intentions but every cause also has its fair share of assholes and extremists. I wish we could go into everything with rose colored glasses but sometimes we have to see the reality in front of us.
Troughton was great. I loved how he was grumpy and hard on the outside but soft with a whimsical sense of humor on the inside. lol.
I wondered the same thing. Why not just give us all the sotn content from the Saturn version? The enchanted forest level looked really neat. I would have really liked playing through that zone.
Still wanting to see Day Of The Doctor myself! I loved Matt though. He was a real bro! Then again I was sad to see David and Christopher go too. My favorite old school doctors were Peter Davidson and Tom Baker.
I still don't quite know,NSonic. It is applied to white heterosexual males a lot though. lol.
You flipflop a lot Blake. Your stance on feminism I mean. I've seen you express anger at feminism then I've also seen you defend feminism. However, I feel as if I'm in that same position. In other words, I "do" want to see more female developers and female movie directors. As for gaming, "diversity" usually improves things.
Of course I've also been harshly attacked by so called feminists for some of my art and my ideas. By the point they call me a "misogynist" I usually give up on debating them intelligently.
The problem is we're in a very "Your either with us 100% or you are against us" era in geek culture. In other words, if you're a feminist most feminists want you to ALWAYS agree with them. If you disagree with them once then suddenly you are an exiled pariah.
It's not just feminism though. I saw an argument where traditional Star Trek fans were labeling the new films as "dumb action flicks" and were calling everyone who likes these movies "stupid". It was very disheartening to see.
It's as if geek culture is making a profit off of making geeks fight with each other. Beyond that every elitist seems to want to be in an echo chamber where everyone says the same thing. If you say something "different" from the rest of the hive-mind,the drones attack you and cannibalize your corpse.
Eureka was a good show. It's a shame she came in as new character when the show was already having some problems. I thought Holly's relationship with Fargo was really sweet. Don't get me wrong,Fargo was still awkward, analytical, and nerdy but it was good to see despite not being the best with women he was still capable of love and empathy. Without Holly I doubt we would have gotten to see that side of him. Wheaton's performance as Fargo's rival Parish wasn't too shabby either. lol. Their fights were always hillarious! The arch where they brought Holly back to life yet she had complications was perhaps the deepest arch in the whole series. It had the same emotional punch as when Stark died.
