It's pretty massive for a Zelda game, especially in the beginning when you don't have enough stamina to get over steep areas properly or have to run long distances without a horse. Horses, also don't travel very fast at first. There are long stretches of space in between inhabited areas. It's only after unlocking waypoints that you can get around easier.
I loved Hollow Knight. I don't like the way it was trashed by Giantbomb because they think it looks like a flash game. Atmosphere is dark and awesome.
The other two I mentioned I only played the demos. They both look like retro games, but new? They feel and play like old games anyway. Blaster Master might be too minimalist, like it actually feels like an NES game. While Gunvolt adds a combo system when you attack with your gun arm at close range.
Quest structure is especially annoying if you have to travel far between quest goals. My issue with large game worlds is traveling, specifically if it isn't scenic. I also don't want every game to be big ass world where you run everywhere. It's become the new padding next to grinding. One of these games a year is fine, but I don't want it in every game. At least in Zelda I don't have to return to every quest giver to complete them. You should try Guild Wars 2 like Blake said. It does quests in a reasonable way. You clear a map area before moving on, while there is a main arching story quest pushing you along to new areas. Respawn points are reasonably placed.
Okay. I'm focusing on adding more stamina circle before hearts. I decided to run around the world climbing towers to fill up my map before pushing the story like I did with FF15.
I played Hollow Knight on PC. I want to try new things exclusive to Switch before I re-buy games I already played. I like that they attempted to update the games for Switch at least.
I really liked Blaster Master demo and Mighty Gunvolt Burst demo, which is like MegaMan.
That's what I thought. I'm having trouble taming wild horses outside of the starter area so I'm back to walking a lot again. I wish the game would at least explain this.
I'm with you waiting on the switch. I got Switch as a surprise gift. Otherwise I would have been happy with PS4 games. After playing it for a week, I really want there to be more games on it already. I don't think it's going to be able to keep up with all the new releases on PS4Pro and New XBox. I've already seen people angry that Monster Hunter World cannot be ported to Switch because of complexity and it's already running slow on regular PS4.

I want to play Rabbids eventually. Since it's not a 1st party game, maybe it will go down in price mid 2018.
