Well, he wasn't technically a stranger. We played Helldivers together previously. He just turned me off by acting like a putz.

You'll enjoy Far Cry 4. There's plenty to do. Holy crap, is there plenty to do.
Good thing that no one has jurisdiction in Liberty City.
The last time I dreamed about video games was during the three year period (fall '09 to fall '11) that I played World of Warcraft. I had dreams in which I was still playing the game. I could see the screen, the hub and everything except for the keyboard or my hands. At times it felt like I had no control over my toon. I was usually fighting enemies. Never farming for items, thank goodness. I haven't played that game since I stopped in '11 but that's how good it was.
The Americans is one of the finest shows on television right now. A credible take on espionage, marriage, idealism and the simmering paranoia between the U.S. and Russia during the early-mid 80's.
Playing that on an Oculus Rift has to be a method of torture. Fuck that.
I'd really like to get into this one but fighting games these days are a weird area for me. I'm not sure I can wrap my head around committing to one the way I used to as a teenager. I've watched some Let's Play vids; the game looks amazing.
Best wishes, prayers and positive thoughts to your friend and his family. I hope things improve for him. Keep strong, buddy.
Glad to see that it works for people but I'm not using it. I'm afraid of tempting my ISP to send me a email/notice that states "Hey asshole, you've hit your bandwidth capacity!" or something like that. And I stream a lot of video and audio already.
I've read The Road, No Country For Old Men and All The Pretty Horses. All excellent and more accessible than Blood Meridian.
