Yea I never played the updated versions. I heard they are really good. But I like playing the original just for nostalgia.

I feel your struggle. This is the toughest part of picking my next game to play but rather my next RPG. It is a big decision since you are about to devote a lot of time to that one game, quest, characters, world. If you figure out a way to choose one easily let me know.
Thanks for the lists. It is so hard trying to find games that are in this genre other than Metroid and Castlevania games. I heard Gucacamelee is an excellent game. Does Batman play like the console versions?
Wow that is a really genaric game name. That is the major issue with this genre is that lull that you get during the game. These games thrive on flow. It also has to keep you engaged. I think this is one of the genres that is hardest to play, drop and try to comeback to.
Backtracking can suck sometimes but if the world is really engaging then I don't mind at all.
Yea I did happen to read it. I thought it was completely relatable to me. I was glad to see that someone else was effected by the game as much as I was. It is amazing how games in general and that one in particular can be so influential and helpful.
DARK SOULS!!!!!!!!! Freakin love that game. I can't wait for Dark Souls 2, it hurts waiting for it.
I played and beat FallOut 3 and dabbled in the DLC. Is New Vegas DLC worth it? I am thinking about gettin the GOTY edition but if the DLC isn't really worth it then I'll just buy the main game.
DARK SOULS is up there. If not my favorite game one of them ever. I have only beaten it once but I love chipping away at it. The game means a lot for me personally and it helped me through a rough time in my life.
I have never heard of La Maluna...I'll check it out. I am always looking for some recommendations.
Yea that is what I am afraid of that I won't be able to dedicate the time that the game deserves and is necessary.
I have not played at all and I really don't know all that much about heroes. I just watch the competitions and it gets really intense. I love watching the cutesy looking heroes that are the tanks on the teams and just destroy people. It is so ironic.
