a PS2 is always a good investment. The huge library of games still floating around out there (you can still purchase PS2 games on Gamefly) makes it a really solid investment.
I wish I still had a PS2 to hook up to my kid's TV. He'd be more than happy with games of that gen's ilk, as he finds immeasurable pleasure in playing his 2DS.

I'm 2 hours in right now, ended up grinding some levels out before I went to see Leknaat. My PSP started to die, so I plugged him in to juice up. I haven't present the Astrological stuff to Kraze..gonna watch a bit of Family Guy first.
It's fun stuff.
You'll get plenty out of Portal 2 without finishing up the first Portal.
There is no cake.
