Ooooh. I have yet to play a Bioshock title, though they do look awesome. My bad. lol

Yeah, I think now I'd rather sit back and enjoy a concert, but most of the ones I went to were metal bands in high school, so moshing was rampant. I also went to Death Cab for Cutie, and surprisingly, now that you mention it, I don't remember too many cell phones, except mine towards the end.
I'm more interested in the life experience aspect than the mechanics, but you've got my attention, so I'll be following along.
Yeah, I just kind of assumed all this crap had stayed in the same spot in the game room, and would just be there. Maybe I even sold it and forgot, but I don't think so. It does indeed suck.
That's quite a few games. Twelve games is literally about a third of the number of games in my full collection if I find all of it. I hope it winds up somewhere for you!
999 has a sequel, too? Might go with Ghost Trick then, I'll know I only have one to buy that way. lol
I like it occasionally, but with this game, I don't think you need it, it's still an improvement on the original.
I know what you mean about Game Genie, whenever I've used invincibility codes in games, I've questioned why I'm playing something with no conflict or sense of accomplishment. I also know what you mean about concert cellphones, as it seems like people are there to say they were there as opposed to enjoying their experience, but in my case, my system is to mosh, dance, sing along, and such most of the time, but get one or two songs recorded, especially if I was just going to stand there watching anyway, to have. So I'm guilty of it myself, but to a lesser extent than people that want to be cellphone videographers.
Never had a game have quite so much impact on me though, but great blog!
It was more or less my first Zelda as well. I never got into Link to the Past, just watched other people play it and wasn't really interested. Honestly, I didn't play through OoT until much later in the N64's life. Nice to see it being enjoyed by further generations.
Even without the effect, the character figures and environment do look clearly better and less jagged, plus being able to switch items more quickly is a welcome touch, so though I played it on both N64 and Gamecube, on a disc that came with the Master Quest edition I got for pre-ordering Wind Waker, I think once the price was right and I got a 3DS, I'd pick it up, personally.
Despite having been on 1up then here since 2006, being a gamer since four or five, I still pretty much click on random topics that interest me and don't know much about game sites outside of 1up, Kotaku, IGN, Pixlbit, and I'm aware of egmnow because I used to love reading EGM.
As for the article itself, it doesn't really say much at all, just Adam Lanza had lots of guns, played COD, and that along with his mental illness may have correlated to his actions in some way. And? I mean I assume the guy's point is that playing violent games can have a different effect on a mentally unstable person than everyone else, and I don't disagree, but he doesn't elaborate at all. Just says a bunch of random facts and moves on, so why not just copy/paste the FBI item list, then below it say "Adam Lanza played COD according to a neighbor, and had a mental illness." It would get across the exact same information much quicker, and it's not like that would be all that much less rushed than what he did anyway.
