True ... and I actually didn't realize I had done that, but come on, I talked about movies more than games on 1up, which is the reason I'm doing this GLaD thing to force myself on the topic of games to begin with, so you shoulda seen that one coming! haha

The important thing is, we agree on things like this. lol

Not having played it, nor being able to, I don't have much interesting to add about the game, except to say that I probably played MGS2 just as gung-ho as one would play Revengeance, and that's one of the things I liked about that game: if I got tired of stealth, I'd get punished, but I could still complete it, anyway.

Obviously, Revengeance is what I did in MGS2 times ten, and using a sword, but I wonder how different it would feel to someone like me, who sometimes rushed through other MGS games, ignoring stealth to get to the next cutscene.

Probably a lot different, so forget I said anything and have a wonderful podcast. lol

I was never that interested in Resistance, but that clip looked pretty awesome ... and like it was TERRIBLE for your arthristis, but awesome nonetheless. haha

Sounds hard, but I have played games for the mere enjoyment of seeing different ways a character can be killed before ... hmmm...

Interesting you re-post this the day after I try uploading a million Wind Waker Link avatars (and succeed, finally, today) and I decide to make my GLaD entry about the game and how it introduced me to the graphical style.

Now I know what it's like to be the movie Dredd, in production before, then accused of ripping off Raid: Redemption. Tongue Out

Well, I've not been accused of it yet, I just want to say, excellent blog, and I agree with you about the look helping last gen's titles to stand out a great deal (and making them age far better than other realistically styled games in my opinion), and I swear I'm not copying your idea for a blog. lol

I totally understand needing to be in the mood for this stuff, and hell, all music. I can hate something one day, love it the next.

I must admit, I don't know near as much about actually ska bands (re: not just punk bands utilizing lots of upstrokes and horn sections), but I have been discovering a lot more of it through Song Pop, and I love it.

Happy Texas Indepence Day!

Interesting you say that; my mom was wondering how they were allowed to do all that when there are people with such allergies.

If you can get a friend to get some take out from there, though, I recommend it. And hey, no problem, I'm a bit hyperbolic sometimes too, sometimes.

I don't know why, either. I'm about the opposite. Loved SMB1, never could get into SMB2, at least from what I played on nintendo8.com.

I like it here as well. Not much else to say, just nice to see an easy-going community, for the most-part. Laughing
