Well, I'm only 22, 23 this month, but I also started on NES at age four, and share your name, so nice to meet you!

I don't mind RPG elements and deep combat, but I've never been as big a fan of Metroid/SotN style gameplay as everyone else. To me it still feels like there's a set path, just with retreading old ground.
I enjoyed Portrait of Ruin, Order of Ecclessia, and Metroid games I've played, but I don't like the grinding aspect of either PoR or OoE, and I actually liked Fusion most BECAUSE it felt more linear, which to me really meant I explored a new area every time I got that new item, unless the elevator was down.
I'm very interested in Lords of Shadow games though, they look like a lot of fun to me, especially this one, and I'm one of the few that didn't totally mind Castlevania on PS2 anyway, I thought it was a decent rental.
So is it Meshuggah or Fucking Meshuggah that's the title?
Many people call me Joey in the real world, and I can be vulgar, so I think we'll get along. lol
Well, go look at IGN and your comments there (one from me, "homerbundy"), and then look here.
Yeah, what did I say about IGN? Actually, I'm not sure I said anything at all. Well, the point is, while it's good for news, this site is WAY better for blogging and community lol.
Yeah, if my work had the same hours this week as last (I'm a freelancer), there'd be no way in hell for me to keep up.
And hey, now we can be friends on here, so it's all good.
Can't say I knew you from 1up, but this place is nice. Look forward to your stuff.
Yeah, I was still doing Tunes Tuesdays on here as well, and I may start doing ska-punk Saturdays, depending on feedback. Nice to see so many music blogs, although I never seem to have time to listen to all of it, which is why it's nice you have yours on a Friday. lol
Glad to see those awesome tunes back up, and I've commented them before, so you know what I think of, I believe all of them.
I do love games, but out of movies, music, books, TV, etc., music speaks the most directly to my soul so to speak, hence why my CD collection is so much larger than my movies and games collections.
... There was a video perfect for this, but I typed in retsupurae and navigatr in Youtube search to no avail. Just know that some guy seriously suggested Lara Croft get breast cancer, and it be a part of the gameplay. Yeeeeeaaaahhhh.
As for this, I don't mind serious subjects like rape being included in videogames, as long as it takes it as seriously as it should. Presentation is everything. Also, as long as it's a cutscene and I'm not controlling the aggressor or something, that's just fucking wrong and creepy.
Me too! It'll keep my blogs relevant to the gaming community, even if I'm not in the same place with them as everyone else.
That... explains a lot, actually (going through Activision statements for Master's) lol.
And yeah, our CPA does taxes. I've never actualy spoken with him that I know of, my dad usually relays the message to me.
