I feel like you repeated my points back to me, but then I guess I was repeating your points back to you, and just flipping them to be more positive ... hmmm... lol.

I commented in the most abrasive and contentious way I could; also, does that website use Word or something, cause I typed 4, 3, 2, and 1 in this comment box before copy/pasting to your site, and they all became an indented 1. on your site. lol
Hmmm... ok, looking it up, I guess you're right, there were a lot of games you mentioned that were announced before those systems launched but that came out a while after launch, and actually Resistance was a launch title, so my mistake on saying "none" of what you mentioned fit the category.
That being said, I'm still willing to see where PS4 goes from here, and don't think the announcement is a good barometer for what games we'll be getting in the future when it's had time to come into its own.
I will try to keep things to 620 pixels, but I usually just take from Bing and Google randomly, so I'm not making any promises, at least until I realize what happened and edit my blog. Speaking of which, thanks for helping me understand WTF is going on when it inevitably happens for me.
Girls with boy's names tend to be attractive. I've never met an ugly girl named Sam, personally.
Also, a college friend used to love quoting the Switchfoot song "Company Car" every time the sell-out nature of our university jobs came up.
Whose side am I on, given these statements? I have no clue. Your comment just happened to remind me of random, meaningless crap, and I typed it out. ... it's late.
How close they came out after launch, I don't know* sorry, it wasn't letting me edit my comment for some reason.
Honesly, when the current gen systems came out, I kinda felt how you do now. That, and I didn't see a huge graphical leap with the launch titles.
Also, and I'm not saying this to be a dick, but none of the games you mentioned were available for these consoles' (PS3, 360, Wii) launches, and looking at the wikipedia entries regarding their launches, it looks like a lot of what you're talking about, sequels, generic sports titles, etc. were the norm for the last console generation at launch as well.
How close to launch they came out afterwards, but if we're judging based on the announcement for a system's launch, this really doesn't look any worse than the previous generation, though I can understand that you feel the Wii U is doing more new stuff out of the gate.
I'm willing to wait and see what console I will pick up or won't, since I skipped this gen.
I too thought "trap" meant this:
and then I thought "Hav-a-Hart" was an ironically cruel name, but then I understood, and it wound up being a cute story. lol
All of this sounds good to me, especially "will I outlive Pokemon." I keep forgetting they're still going, even if I stopped like ten years ago! lol
I always wanted to play those, and I thought P.N.03 looked awesome, but stayed away cause of bad reviews. I may just have to let Amazon change that for me if I find a good price.
Sadly, I was never interested in ICO, and Shadow of Colossus came out around the time my older brother moved out with the PS2.
