Well, I only went crazy cause the blog a day month on 1up was still happening while we migrated, but now I'm going to try a game a day challenge so.... ummm.... want some cocaine?

Excellent! I actually stopped having trouble when I started checking the dialog box for "Remember Me."
Excellent new feature though; I try to post in Word if I can, but on my laptop, sadly, Word actually takes longer to open than Firefox! So I appreciate the auto-saving, and it's been working on my end!
Five star treatment, indeed.
I think the way the website is already set up, it's safe to say you don't fail at life. As long as you're working to improve it, that's what's important, and is greatly appreciated.
I'll be sure to let you know if features aren't working, but to help improve the site, not to call you a failure. Keep up the good work!
I got started on NES and SNES as well, cause my older brother had the systems.
Nice to meet you again! lol
I only actually played the first two, but the music is great! Glad you're enjoying 4 and Rising.
I loved EGM as well, though, as I was born a year after you started reading it, I mean the later issues. lol
I haven't seen alexa.com referenced in quite some time, but hey, looks like there's a traffic spike since the bad news, and it's only in 3544th place in Singapore! lol
Honestly, to me, 1up's closing isn't hitting me as hard as EGM's did, because of the nature of the web. Everyone goes to a new place in this closing, where with EGM I was left only with that slap in the face of a pixelated Wolverine.
Hell yes to Gerudo Valley and Bloody Tears, had those on a similar list of mine as well.
You're absolutely right about Gerudo Valley having more of a Spanish thing going on in contrast with the heavily orchestrated stuff, but it's probably my favorite Zelda song for just that reason.
My favorite Bloody Tears version is with just piano, but I like the heavy stuff as well, and I know what you mean by good for the gym. I swear I can run faster with loud music.
One disagreement, though: "Megaman's never been known for its musical prowess"? I'd argue that's one of the things the series is most known for, and being a guitar player myself, those main riffs are easy on most of the songs, but there are tons of parts in many of them that take massive amounts of chops!
That Living Daylights reminds me of Rise Against a bit. I like it.
Love that UK Subs song as well. Maybe Riot being one of my favorite bands, or at least having one of my favorite songs in "Swords and Tequila," helps.
Digging the Oberkamf as well.
Speaking of obscure punk bands, ever heard of Kylahullut? It's a band Children of Bodom frontman Alexi Laiho plays guitar for.
Since everyone is talking about music theme days, I may start doing ska punk Saturdays.
I added my whole collection this morning, but go to my profile, and ask me if you think that was hard. lol
Not counting the games I'm pretty sure my brother owned and I just played on NES, SNES, PS1, PS2, and Game Boy (which I filed under "wish list," since I never owned them and he moved out and sold most of it I think), I only have 30 or so across my own Nintendo 64, Game Boy Color (I literally only remember owning Pokemon Pinball), GBA, DS, Gamecube, and Android phone (plus Pokemon Blue, which I owned, and I think the Game Boy became a hand-me-down at that point).
I've been gaming since I was four, but because my family loves to rent, not buy, that's all I got. I should, however, start selling some of this on Amazon that I don't play, as like you, I could use the cash. I hope you make a good many Benjamins on your stash, sir!
I love talking about things no one else on these sites pays attention to, as you can see from my movie blogs, so I support your decision not to only talk games.
Speaking of which, I've logged about 30 or so games in my collection and, across four handhelds and two systems, all Nintendos, plus my Android, that's pretty much it. lol Nowhere close to your 400+
There's more in my "wish list," cause I've included the Game Boy, NES, SNES, PS1, and PS2 stuff my brother owned in that category (we played each other's games a lot, but he moved out and sold most of it), but I don't think he ever bought all that much, either. We loved renting. lol
