The Playstation blogcast mentioned how good the new Vita feels. It apparently has better battery life too. However, I got the old one for just the reason you mention. That screen. They didn't mention anything about that. Figures.

Ah yeah! June 25 according to this one article http://www.polygon.com/2014/5/7/5691562/valiant-hearts-the-great-war-ubisoft-release-date I'm on it day-one. Thanks for letting me know. This was my most anticipated game this year.
Sand from the sandtrap. Seems like a strange choice for a cover. The gameplay of the PGA series was really good.
It's like a very simplified and steamlined RPG, but it manages to get engaging latter in the game when the bosses get more challenging. It's also a lot of fun to search the beautiful environment for chests and other collectibles. There are some side missions too that'll test your memory of previous levels.
I find it irksome to have happy game over music. I feel the game is taunting me. I know they just don't want you to feel too bad, but I do, and I resent a happy game over.
I do like that Phatasy Star II one. The bass line is cool and melody seems sympathetic. The Chrono Cross one is great. I could listen to that classical guitar all day. I prefer a sad game over. It's more appropriate.
I loved the original cartoon Duck Dodgers in the 21st Century, especially the animation art for the backgrounds done by Maurice Noble (a name I just discovered) like this below.
I was kinda of hoping this game would be of that style but it's based off the more recent TV series. Still, I'd like to play it.
I played a few levels of it with my friend and it was pretty fun. We didn't stick with it for some reason though. I'll try it again at some later date. See if it's still good.
I have the same weird division in my mind between FPS and RPG. B2 pulls me in both ways at once. I'm constantly getting interrupted by enemies while gazing at my stat page. "Let me finish crunching these numbers will you!", I yell. It's like stop-and-go driving. It just drives me crazy.
Those graphics look so delicious! I wish I'd gotten this day one.
